I was delighted with this motel. Definitely a novel experience. Barring the transparent creepiness, the locality is infested with black cats and the cleaning-man wears clown pants! 😂 The room was clean enough and the staff was friendly.

One of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. Located right off the main drag, it is easy to walk to downtown Tonopah. The Motel itself is decorated with many clowns, making it a creepy but cool place to stay. The rooms can be a little run down, but in my opinion, that just adds to the charm of...

As others have observed, what can you expect for $50/night? My stay in April 2017 was a success in the sense that I had a good night's sleep. Of course, I brought ear plugs, an essential. The bedspreads were new. The sheets were clean. The staff was pleasant. The room provided an operating CRT TV with cable channels, a mini-fridge...

This property certainly has seen its better days. You don't stay here for luxury. You stay because it is what it is, because of the Clown's theme, and because it's next to an amazingly historic cemetery. Oh yeah, both the motel and the cemetery have reported paranormal activity. The rooms are clean, but well worn. The bed was comfortable, but...

You can't beat $49 a night. The hotel was a great price, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I was thoroughly aggravated that this hotel was just featured on Ghost adventures, and the staff had no knowledge of it. The working staff had no knowledge of the cemetery they are build next to, or of the Belmont mine...

Very good value rooms are dated but bed was comfy & room was clean. If you're expecting the ritz. It's not for you but has wifi too. In an area where we'd had no signal for hours. Staff very friendly. Would stay again.

So we stopped in town with nowhere to stay, my Mum said under no circumstances are we staying at "The Clown Motel" Well at $30 a night, we ended up there. I walked into the reception, if you're not scared of clowns, you will be after a visit in here. The guy behind the desk was lovely, they only had...

It was clean, it was recently bought so they were talking renovations, it was a very old building but pleasant. There was also a graveyard close by so it would be a great place for paranormal investigators, there was nothing scary to me about it.

I really didn't want to stay here but my friends insisted. The rooms are actually OK and don't have too much clown memorabilia in them. The beds were clean and it was the best priced hotel in Tonopah. A good stop before Vegas.
