We stayed in a lake view room. We paid extra to get an upper floor to have a better view of the lake. However, an upper floor was ALL that was included in this "upgrade." The website touts "...chic, modern décor in our 740 Lake Tahoe hotel rooms and suites..." Clearly, our room was neither chic nor modern but was...

It was a nice hotel and casino. I enjoyed myself, but the odds of winning to losing was not too good. The hotel was very nice. There were a few disappointments, but I give them an 8 on the scale of hotels. The staff were very accommodating in most areas. Beautiful views of the lake though.

HOTEL was nice, staff was helpful, Pit Crew for craps table stinks... not only did they not watch for players wishing to play, but then asked me to step away after I'd been waiting for a roll to end to put my money on the table, common courtesy to the shooter. When I moved to find an empty spot, I...

We were not aware at time of booking that this was a casino hotel and this spoilt an otherwise relaxing stay. We are not gamblers and could not get away from it, even in the bars there were gambling screens thrust in your face everywhere! Its a shame that there is nowhere to escape it and we will not make...

Thank you for your business and comments. We have always been a casino hotel and resort. We're sorry you did not realize that upon booking.

We visit Lake Tahoe every fall (for the past 22 yrs) and for the past 15 have stayed at Harvey's. While the facility is in need of up-dating (room furnishing's etc) the service is always great. Tom (front desk Mgr) has always gone beyond in helping with our reservations, and Ms Miller was great in helping out with our account...

Ate at the habachi table, presentation was very nice. Loved seeing children at next table taking in the cooking show with wide eyed amazement. The steak and shrimp was delicious. The ice cream was very refreshing and tasty. Would defintley recommend.

This is a great location. You can walk to the lake and you are right in the center of the city. Lots to do and lots of restaurants around the area. Also has great bike . The rooms at the hotel are very large and the rooms are clean. The staff are good and make you feel welcomed.
