sands is installing new air conditioning and heating units that allows you to switch from heat to air conditioning or air conditioning to heat without needing to call front desk to have someone come into your room and work on it to switch it.

The room was clean and large with a great view of the town and mountains. The breakfast buffet was $10 and had enough vat for most people. Food was good and plentiful. A As in most casinos with hotels there will be cigarette smoke in the public areas, but not noticeable in my non-smoking room.

First time staying. My room was clean and the casino has variety of games. I suggest for couples/single individual I don't recommend it for family, lobby smells like smoke. Room service is a little slow. Diner and buffets reasonable price. Overall service good. Check out at noon no extra cost. One block over from the main strip. Accommodating for specific...

Got a good rate so I wasen't expecting much. Friendly staff who took good care of me. The hotel is a little dated but its clean and well kept. The location is downtown and convenient to everything. Good eats found at Mels Diner which in the hotel. Also, a very modern casino with all the latest games. Was lucky too!

Four 100 to 150 pound boys took 1 silly jump in the elevator and that was enough to stop it. Sands charged a $1020 entrapment fee to free them. There are video monitors in the elevators and they will get you. I have a copy of the video and it is absurd how little effort it took to "break" the...

I am a frequent visitor to the Sands in Reno, even if I am staying somewhere else. I recently made two trips to Reno staying at the Sands, and had a great time. The casino has a good selection of gaming options, with fast and friendly cocktail service. The players club provides good value to players of all levels, and...

Once a year we come to Reno and stay the weekend at The Sands on our annual bus trip. They always have great customer service and the rooms have always been cleaned. We have two favorite cocktail servers Sylvia on the floor and Jo on the tables. They are hands-down the best anywhere I've ever gone. They are so sweet...
