What a cool old mining town! We landed here because of snow and didn't really plan on it, but it ended up being our favorite place to stay! The rooms were so neat and each had their own personality. A lot of space. It was very fun having the saloon in the hotel too, although we are not used to...

Our room was clean, well decorated, and comfortable. Older properties can be a mixed bag, but this one was nice to stay in. There was a fridge and coffee-maker. The staff that we met were all very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area. There is also a nice tavern on the ground floor...

My wife and I were on a two day fishing trip to Echo Canyon and stayed the night at the Overland. We knew nothing of the previous history of the town of Pioche or the hotel. We stayed in room 25 the Victorian suite. The room was large and clean and well appointed with antiques, very comfortable bed and beddings....

Overall we had a great overnight stay. We stayed in the Anasazi room and enjoyed the little tidbits...from the White Buffalo head, to the paintings and cut-outs on the walls, the cute lamps, and the wooden Indian in the corner. It was a non-smoking room, but with smoking rooms in vicinity, had a slight smoke odor. The room was clean...

This hotel is almost 100 years old. We had 3 rooms (with friends) so we were able to see different ones. I will say while some are noisier than others (especially the ones right above the bar) the loud music stopped around 11PM to midnight and honestly, didn't really disturb us. Each room while being old has been refurbished and...

If you're looking for a quaint and quirky place to stay while in the Pioche region, the Overland is made for you. Be advised quaint and quirky also come with everything smells like an ashtray (even in my non smoking room), floorboards creak and groan a lot, windows are old, single pane, don't open and are dirty, heat didn't work...

My wife and I were looking for a historical place to stay while traveling through Northeastern Nevada. We are both history buffs and thought this would be a great place to stay. We were not disappointed. The rooms have been re-done but still keep that old western feel. The staff was awesome, and the bar was an added bonus. The...

We stayed for one night traveling between Great Basin and Zion National Parks. We stayed in the Kokopelli room- two spacious, well decorated rooms- all the amenities- great staff. I can not overstate how happy we were with the Overland

I booked this as I was looking for something quirky and historical. I made it to Pioche mid-afternoon and it was such a peaceful and lovely place, the whole town was very calm. The hotel is historical and reputedly haunted. I stayed in room 10 and it did creep me out a little as the annex is so dark. I...

We were going to stay at the Overland during Labor day weekend but they were booked a month in half in advance. We ended up staying up the road in Eagle Valley . We went into town (SOO Cute!) and stopped at the bar. The building is a Neat Old Gem but the bar tender wasn't very friendly :(. The...
