We stayed at the Tropicana March 5th-8th for the Conex show. Things I liked about the Tropicana, close to the airport, spacious room and bathroom, really liked the south beach style decorating. Got in about 6 pm, check-in took about 10 minutes. Definitely recommend staying in the Paradise Tower, so convenient, elevators are right inside the front entrance when coming...

The rooms are just Ok, nothing special, but even if you get a non-smoking room you will smell the damp old carpeting in the hallway reeking of cigarette smoke. I'm a local and play at the tropicana three to four times a week ....I love Vicki the cocktail server she sees me walking to my same machine and is there with my cocktail she very friendly and the service is outstanding it's one of the main reasons I keep coming back is because of Vicky and her friendly service...

Tropicana Rocks!! I really enjoy the staying at the Tropicana. The dealers are very friendly and so are is the hotel staff. My room was great. clean and I had a great view of the strip. I will always continue to stay at the Trop and I recommend YOU staying there as well.

Well we were expecting a newer stay in a well known resort. The "NEW" Tropicana as billed just isn't that at all The rooms were vintage circa 90's. Deluxe room in Club Tower over $200/nite had no refrigerator, windows that opened 2 inches with metal screening making it impossible to enjoy the view. Really long walk to Lobby in the main bldg, which is the only entrance/exit. Terrible cable TV reception on multiple channels. No cell reception due to metal grating on windows acting like a Faraday cage....
