Stayed two nights in a large king bed room in the tower that was a long walk through the casino and restaurants. The rooms and casino are worn and dated, though the lobby and restaurant areas appear to be updated. Not much of a dining selection, but fortunately the MGM, NY-NY, and Excalibur are across the street. The low nightly...

From the moment you check in this place is great. A special Thanks to Rose the front desk lady. She was very informed and helped us. We had a room in the back tower, It was a long walk there but worth it, The rooms were quiet and clean. We had a room facing the strip and it was beautiful....

Just spent a three-day weekend at the Tropicana. From my well-placed source, I was told the Tropicana is the second oldest casino hotel on the Strip. And while she's showing some age, the place is still in fairly good shape. First off, I'm not a big gambler or drinker, so you're probably wondering why I'm in Vegas, right? Visiting family....

It is a good hotel but a very long walk to the bedrooms. It is also right down the far end of the strip, so is a very long walk to see all the strip. We did get a bus pass on the last day to ease our aching feet! There are probably better hotels, but we were with a...

Hotel charged $29 daily Resort fee despite pool being closed - said it co eyed use of fitness center and wifi - two amenities that are free in most hotels worldwide,...

So disappointed in this stay. I was there for a ceremony that started at 4pm. I traveled from the East coast on a 5.5 hour flight and got to the hotel. The check in line was long and only 3 desk clerks. At a hotel that size you definitely need more staff during prime time check in. The hotel knew...

I firmly believe you get what you pay for. This was our 6th trip to Vegas. We have previously stayed at a variety of 'The Strips' hotels (Bellagio, Luxor, MGM, TI). We spent 5 nights at the Tropicana, despite booking 9 months in advance check-in was slow and painful, it took a long time for them to find us the...

Traveled to Las Vegas for a convention. Tropicana was the only choice left of the three given for attendees to book. Noticed Tropicana was affiliated with Hilton and thought maybe it will be fine since we are Honor Reward members. First impression..."How old is this place?" Second impression...poor ventilation (smelled of old cigarettes and the party from the night before)....

Stayed here for 5 nights, room was large and clean. There are currently building works taking place outside at this hotel which did create some noise, but then again this is Vegas and is never quiet anyway, it was not noisy enough to be a problem. Hotel is one of the smaller on The Strip but was comfortable, friendly and...
