We stayed for one night at the Tropicana. Found it to be better priced than similar options. We were able to easily walk everywhere on the strip. Parking was simple and the customer service was great. They gave us each a warm cookie when we arrived which was a nice touch. The lobby has a small minimart with drinks, food,...

The Tropicana is one of my favorite places to stay in Vegas, it has been renovated about 5 or 6 years ago and that made the difference. It's one of the older places on the strip however the renovation made it up to date. The casino is relatively small compared to other properties, I don't care for gambling anyway. I...

We have stayed at the Tropicana many times since 1976. We continued to return occasionally even after the property started to show its age but had not been there since the association with Hilton. Hotel has been upgraded to near new condition and we were pleased to enjoy a high quality facility worthy of the DoubleTree brand

I'm trying to think of positive words to encourage the staff but clarify that this is not a hotel to consider for a Las Vegas experience. The facility is tired, smells, and is in need of renovation. Stayed in the club tower and should have known better when the large fan was blowing in the hallway upon arrival. It's like...

This was the first time I have stayed here since the property was renovated a few years ago. Really had a good stay. Room was clean and comfortable, casino bright and well decorated. I also enjoyed a couple different meals at the Beach Cafe... a breakfast buffet and dinner. Both were enjoyable, service friendly and quick. Tried the Cincinnati chili...

I actually enjoyed my stay here. had a feel of vegas as i imagine it used to be. fair enough, this hotel doesnt have the same level of glamour and prestige as those further up the road, and it does sometimes feel a little far but i dont have any major complaints. breakfast buffet, whilst small in variety, was still...

Thank God I read reviews of this place on TripAdvisor before going. I made a reservation about 24 hours before arriving. I had little time to figure out the good/bad. Here's some tips: 1. Ask for the Paradise Tower. Those rooms are more modern and have been renovated more recently. 2. I was willing to pay a $15 "upgrade" for...

I arrived Sat around 10 pm and used the Diamond checking area. After waiting a bit (young woman was on phone) I was attended. My booking was a King Deluxe at Paradise tower.. The lady was not very friendly as I have seen in any Hilton (specially when you have Diamond status) and seems me that she was doing me...

The rooms were good for the money and recently refurbished. Unfortunately the location of the casino right at the bottom of the elevators allows all the smoke to rise into the corridors adjacent to the rooms. The casino was particularly smoky. The bar area was good for meeting people and the staff and service (especially Emma) were very good. Also...

Took 4 calls to their internet support . Laptop and two iOS devices (iPad and iPhone 7) would not connect. Even worse was they would disconnect the call and calling on In room line. Not a happy Diamond member currently. Typical useless support.
