The casino is pretty good. The elevators were messed up or out of order for the first 3 days so far. The biggest issue I have is a trip to their pool. They have many restrictions and I was ok with it. The stopper was NO OUTSIDE WATER in any container period. They sell their own extremely over priced water and want to force you to pay! In these times of recovering from COVID, I find it horrifying, the Corporate greed that has taking over. Water is a necessity of life and to profiteer off of it is unbelievable.
Customer service was terrible. The first night the person staying next to us was blasting their music so loud. I called the front desk multiple times and they did nothing. The next morning I went to the front desk and asked for a room change and they wouldn’t do it. Apparently that’s not a good enough reason, even though it was a night mare. Also I know Vegas is expensive but at the flamingo pool my husband and I each got one drink and it was $92. We also had you wait in a line over an hour to just get in the pool. I jokingly said I’ve never felt like such a peasant on vacation. That was my 4th time to Vegas and I will never ever stay at the flamingo again.
I am five days into a seven day stay in Las Vegas. I chose The Flamingo Hotel and Casino because it was my absolute favorite place to stay while visiting Sin City. This is my 25th visit to Las Vegas since 2016 and my 20th stay at The Flamingo Hotel and Casino. This will absolutely be my last. Again, I am five days into a seven day stay and despite my best everts I simply cannot get room service to step foot into my room to clean it. I have left the “Please Service Room” sign on the door for five days and still…I have come back to the room and nobody has toughed it. Last night I finally called the Caesars number on the in house phone and talked to someone about it. She said someone would immediately come up to my room and bring me fresh towels and take out the garbage. Someone did indeed come up but they just left a bag of towels outside the door. No knock. No nothing. So I am presently left with garbage from five days of a normal Vegas hotel visit. I am far from the person that voices my opinion to get an upgrade so writing this review is my last straw. It is also my last stay at The Flamingo Hotel and Casino. Oh…the check in process was absolutely horrible as well. I’m pretty sure the hotel said “let’s round up our worst employees will no customer service skills what so ever and have them oversee check in”. I got here at 7:30pm for a 4:00pm check in and was told my a machine that my room wasn't ready. After 20 minutes of some guy with ZERO customer service skills got me cleared to check in. I'm at the absolute end of my rope Flamingo. .…
Let me just start off by saying that I would never stay there again. We got married at the Botanical Gardens which was gorgeous. Our room wasn’t cleaned even though it was during Covid you could request it. I requested it twice no one ever came to the room. We didn’t have a shower curtain which was requested twice. Needless to say I had to go to the front desk and complain and they were nice enough to comp our stay, however I wasn’t impressed. The room we stayed at was so outdated. We stayed in a suite the first few nights and the one TV remote didn’t work and it was never taken care of. They do not have a lot of selections for the slot games as other casinos do. They did have a great restaurant which was Bugsy & Meyers steakhouse that I would highly recommend to anyone.
The carpets are filthy full of stains. Not small spots either. The rooms smell like water that’s been sitting for a while and wet carpet. Room 17002 to be exact. Not worth $360 plus taxes. Only good this is the location.
