This is our hands down favorite hotel in Las Vegas. So much going on within walking distance. Great restaurants to choose from. The pool area is very nice. We have stayed in several Vegas hotels but always come back to the Nugget.

Have stayed at the golden Nugget many times thru the years, last time 3 years ago so I was surprised this last trip that the hotel rooms had new very comfortable beds, and rooms seemed to of been updated. the hotel does have some negatives although minor, first off if you want a bottle of water from the room it's...

Came here for a week with my guy at the suggestion of a local. If you're looking for the modern glitz of Las Vegas, you need to head down to the strip where everything costs twice as much. The Nugget is on Fremont Street where the entertainment is always free and fun. It was almost Halloween so it brought just...

The staff and room accommodations were acceptable. Spacious, clean room. The problem was the first night Oct. 11th we were not aware a concert would be going on outside our window until 3:30 p.m. So loud, I know others who complained to the front desk and they were somewhat rude with their response or compensation. I think we should have...

Since the major renovation and new built several yeas ago, the Golden Nugget further cemented itself in history as the jewel of Downtown Las Vegas. My favorite place to stay even as a local when we want to get away for the night and take in "Old School" Vegas at its finest. Landry's has some of their best restaurants in...

You can tell how passionate I am about what a terrible hotel this is because I'm using my cellular data to post it--that's because it would cost me 15 dollars to use the Wifi in here for one night. Mind you, I already paid 200 dollars for my single room. The fitness center closes at 8 pm, so if you...

Have been to Vegas 5 times and stayed at the Golden Nugget 3 times. It's right on Freemont Street where the light shows are, but it is away from the Strip. There are usually street entertainers outside the hotel which adds a bit more fun to a trip. The rooms are well proportioned and reasonably priced ( there are always...

GREAT Location, if you like Freemont Street. And with Halloween close, it was on! Great band with characters in costume, doing ghoulish based songs. GREAT DANCING! Back to the hotel, it was wonderful. A slightly more smoky smell in the casino area, but all and all a great experience. Charthouse Restaurant, with a beautiful 75000 gallon aquarium, was wonderful....get the...

I love the Golden Nugget! We've stayed there multiple times. The shark tank/water slide is fun for adults and kids. Rates are reasonable and there are often specials online. It's location is great. Fremont Street is less intimating than the Strip but just as fun. The light show is awesome. You can spend a whole night walking around and seeing...
