Room smelled of urine and had road noise. Drab old furnishings. If you are handicapped, don't accept regular room with shower chair. Sliding doors on shower make it to hard to get in or out of the shower. Casino table game area has low dirty ceilings.

Sooo very dated. The shower and shower head were exceptionally bad. Soap, shampoo seemed like they were left over from their grand opening many years ago. Large room but could've done without the bulky TV set up in front of the windows and all the staining on the bed bench and couch. Light bulbs burnt out, sink faucets loose -...

One of the last bastions of hope in the way sports books were setup. Still get free drink coupons with betting and the counter people are great at helping you find your bets. The wait staff was also fast.

I couldn't check in early. $25 extra fee for fitness center and $72.81 which I didn't do. I log in to Caesars.com and it wasn't working. I kept getting cut off on the phone and had to call back three times, but overall got reimbursed. Rio had slow valet every time throughout our trip. Also my friend went through a...

Nice place good to stay when rates are high. everythning si nicely oriented. no need to go far to get to anything. The Taxis are on point. no long waits at all. Biggest negative is having to travel to the strip.

We stayed 5 nights at the Rio of our 10 night stay this trip. Booked with Total Rewards and the room cost next to nothing - though by the time we finished our play we paid handsomely for it lol.  We arrived on a Sunday for 5 nights checking in early.  The hotel and casino were very quiet on these weekdays...

My husband and I stayed at the Rio from 9/27 to 10/4/16. We had a very nice room in the Ipanema Tower. There was not much of a view ,but since we don't spend alot of time in room looking out the window ,it wasn't an issue. Rose Newman at VIP check in was very helpful in getting us in...

“We have had a Mountain View, and a Strip View. Both are great!!!”
alligrace98, 23 May 2017 | Read review
“It was obvious that they reconfigured (smaller) the rooms, but the bathroom did not appear renovated in years with old fixtures and therefore seemed dirty. When booking over the phone, I had specified we wanted their most recently renovated rooms with a strip view. I was booked Luxury rooms with Strip view but they were neither 'luxurious" nor strip-view. One, there is now a column and a dresser with a TV impeding the window view. And the view was of the mountains and could only see the strip to the far right if our faces were pressed against the window. (Our friends' room smelled like pot and will post their own review.) We complained to a hotel mgr, Cheree, who told us strip view is only a request and not purchase. That is not how our phone reservations were taken nor how the rooms are described on the web site (states clearly Luxury Room with Strip view...Mountain view rooms also stated)....someone needs to educate this hotel mgr. Cheree insisted the best she could do was to move us to another Mountain view room closer to the Strip for our first night and put us on a request list for a room with a strip view the next day. My wife and I were so disappointed with the first two rooms we saw, we didn't feel like moving to a strip view would make much of a difference. ”
