I've stayed at a lot of Harrah's properties, and have been happy with them as a whole. Cromwell's is a different story. Cromwell's is what used to be Barbary Coast (built 1979). Although I'm sure they spent a lot of money on the way it looks, a lot of the systems systems seemed untouched. The elevator (and the stairwell) from the parking garage looked like a homeless camp. They were disgusting. The casino was nice and clean, but you get your first impression coming in from the garage. The staff at check-in was very nice, though they neglected to tell me that you had to swipe your card to make the elevator work. The Bell Hop explained it, but it would seem a likely thing to tell someone when they check-in. The wifi access is usually on the key sleeve, but it wasn't. It was nowhere in the room either. In fact there was not so much as a "Things to see in Vegas" magazine in the room. In fact, even the little bar set up had no prices on it. When I grabbed a small bottle of water, a small bottle of Pepsi and a small bottle of Captian Morgan, I figured it was going to be somewhere around 30-35 bucks. It was over $70.44. Then I made a long distance phone call Los Angeles (213 area code, 270 miles). The call lasted three minutes and six seconds and cost $21.68. Seven dollars a minute. Those are Sat Phone rates. Not a great visit, completely turned me off to Las Vegas in general, and Harrah's in particular.

What makes a nice hotel a great experience? A great staff. We felt so welcome from Ashley and Michell at checkin, to Vanessa and Natalie on the casino floor, to Sandy and Armando at the cappuccino counter. Every person we encountered was pleasant and personable making us feel more like friends, than just customers. Lenny and Heather know how to make 7 Star members feel appreciated. Great stay

Always have a great time gambling here but Natalie just makes it that much better. She is so fun to talk to and is always right there at the right time. And she's great at "removing the evidence." Highly recommend!

Pit bosses were rude and intolerant. Flew out on a private jet with 6 other guys, to spend money and have fun at your nearly vacant casino. Could not hang out with my friends, cheer them on, learn new games. Not much fun. Couldn't understand some of the dealers. Angelina at the bar was a star.

Checked in under Caesars "freebie". Excellent room on 6th floor. Clean dbl bed. Excellent shower. Was on the south end overlooking Flamingo. No housekeeping for 5 days but did not mind as I was alone. Front desk staff Christina was very sweet and accommodating. I like the table games (I play craps) and cocktail service was excellent. Ate dinner at Giadas on Saturday night. Service excellent. Food was good but very expensive. Scallops and/or steak was very good. They have a food counter downstairs as well for coffee and such but no other real dining options. This is adults only hotel. I would say more for the younger crowd especially for their nightclub scene.

Hello, I'm pretty sure it does, like pretty much any other hotel in the strip; but yeah, all of them remain closed as well as some of their bars, or nightclubs because of the pandemic...I hope it helps!

I wish I could answer your question better. We didn’t head to the pool on our visit and we traveled and gambled with a bunch of old guys. However, I would venture to say it’s not kid friendly, I believe the pool is 21 and over and I personally wouldn’t have the kids walk over to the other pools. It’s a great hotel for adults gambling and drinking but Excalibur, Mandalay, Mirage, Treasure Island and Venetian are all better suited for kids/families. More family oriented options like shows, shopping, pools, etc. Hope that helps

Yes there is Valet parking available, but the self parking is real close at the back of the hotel. I believe it is like $12 a night. They can put it on your room charge if you want. I usually self park because it is like a 3 minute walk from parking to the check in.
