We are time-share owners so we were excited about checking this place out. Staff was friendly and even allowed for an early check-in. They have a free wine-cheese reception every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. The pool is beautiful as is the hot tub and all the grounds surrounding it. That was the positive part. The negatives were the room location...

Our 2nd time staying here. The 1st time they offered breakfast which was awesome! They no longer offer it but our 2 rooms were ready at arrival about 2ish. I was hoping for a newly remodeled room but didn't have any available. One of rooms had issues with the air conditioning. It took 3 maintenance guys and a whole day...

My room was off to the side of the building, adjacent to the pool. So at night when I looked out my window, I got this beautiful blue glow of the pool and the hot tub. and the towering Tropicana Hotel/Casino, Luxor and Mandalaye Bay Casino. The weather was unexpectedly warm, and surprisingly people were in the pool. That glow...

The price was great. The staff was friendly. Location is very good, close to the strip. $5 Uber ride to major casinos. The rooms are a little bit shabby. Pool was nice. Some of the furniture was old and worn. If they did a slight update, it would be 5 stars imho.

I don't expect to be injured when staying in a "resort." Anyway, arrived and was given a room that looked out to a brick wall with 3 industrial size air conditioners running full blast. Requested another room, and was given a second floor location in the middle of renovations, which started at 7:00am with awful noise all around us. When...

We booked a week at the Desert Rose Resort. Check-in was a breeze and once you got past the Wyndham folks trying to sign you up for a timeshare presentation, we were off to find a spacious 2 BR, 2 BR apartment. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms big enough. The full kitchen was fully stocked for stovetop cooking...

I rated this property a three but it could be rated a 2 or 4. The location is good and I really liked the courtyard. We used the grill area for a family dinner. We also sat around the fire at night and used the hot tub and pool. The staff was also pretty friendly and helpful. The rooms are...

Stayed here for a conference at Mandalay Bay. This hotel sits just off the strip. Quiet area and safe. Did not hear any airplanes or noise within hotel room although close to airport. 5 minute walk to Mandalay Bay or MGM in the other direction. Residence Inn like room with 2 separate rooms, kitchen, table and TV area. Comfortable beds....

They are renovating, and our room was not yet renovated. Nice ammenities in the room, but not much on the property-no eateries, no breakfast, etc. Walk a block or two to the tropicana for food or take an UBER somewhere else. Great "happy hour" in the lobby on certain nights, which was a ton of fun with a lovely singer...

This place is undergoing renovations. so maybe the new rooms will be better, but when my daughter (18) and I checked in we obviously got a room in the older section of the bldg. The room was very shabby, couch was threadbare is spots and stained, furniture was chipped and scratched, decor was outdated, bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. As...
