I stayed at the Cosmopolitan for 6 nights at the beginning of November 2018 and had a wonderful stay. It's centrally located and we were lucky enough to get upgraded to a 1 bedroom terrace suite with a view of the Bellagio fountains. The view was absolutely stunning! The suite it

Hotel is amazing, it’s the newest I believe and still feels it. Very forward thinking, perfect rooms and location.

I’ve stayed in a Terrace Suite and also the cheaper one bedroom terrace. The bath/shower in the one bedroom is amazing.

The premium for fountain view is worth it!

Cosmo is the best place to stay in Vegas. Perfect location and the atmosphere is phenomenal. Whether you're wanting to party, relax, or gamble the Cosmo has it all. There are tons of food options and the buffet is one of the best in Vegas. Ice skating rink during the winter!

Excellent location on strip. Superior customer service. Rooms are awesome with a great view. Super nice casino with friendly waitstaff. Cleaning staff was exceptional. Catering service was beyond expectations. Amazing selection of restaurants. Can't wait for our next stay.

The hotel is nice. The rooms are spacious. But that's where it ends. Front desk staff awful. Booked a specific category of room with 2 queens. Upon check in, told it would not be available. I could pay an upgrade charge for 2 queens or they could give me a free rollaway. Neither

Can I use a Marriott Gift Card at the end of the stay to pay for the hotel room?
For using gift cards, I suggest you connect directly with the hotel to get a confirmation. My experience is that the gift cards sometimes are not always universal to the group, as it may be limited to one hotel, or one state, or a group of management chain operating the hotels. Good luck!

Which tower is the best to stay in? Room booked is with fountain view?
Chelsea Tower as high as you can get. Try for a room with south, southwest view for the sunset. Resort fee total rip off but most everyone in Vegas is doing it. Complain when you check in. No one needs free unlimited phone calls anymore. Expensive for internet only. How much time can you spend in the gym? The only reason I stayed there is because we were travelling with family and that's where they wanted to be. If it were up to me I would have stayed well off the strip and more reasonably priced hotels. Also no coffee maker in room but an expensive minibar. How many times can you look at the fountains and you don't get the sound effects in your room. Walk over to Bellagio and see them live and with sound. I am in the travel business and tell it like it is.

Hoping to stay here next spring (end of March) but we’ll have our kids, ages 11 & 12 with us. Wondering what pool we could use with them that wouldn’t “bother” the other kid-free vacationers?
Not a place to bring kids in my opinion - although in March it’s still pretty cold and the pool may not be used - but from May through September I’d say 11 and 12 year olds would hate this pool bc it’s so packed with adults just standing there drinking in the pool - it’s a swimming pool where mostly overweight, over indulgent, half enebriated 20 somethings and 50 somethings stand there shoulder to shoulder trying to get melanoma. I lived this hotel but the pool was too crowded !!

In a recent review, someone mentioned that he emailed the hotel to make sure that he was given a remodeled room. Anyone know how soon before my visit I should do that? I don't want to do it too far out, but I don't want to wait too long and all those rooms are taken. TIA!
That was me! I'd booked about 6 months before, but only emailed them about 4 weeks before about the remodelled room. They sent an email reply saying they would "do their best to ensure that your room is away from construction and in a newly remodeled suite". I printed that email out, and took it with me when I checked in just in case ... but it wasn't necessary; the guy at check in was already aware of my request and gave me the remodelled room.... which was great!
