Located very much ‘off strip’, but there is a great (free) car park and you can drive to the centre of Las Vegas in 15-20 minutes.

The El Cortez does not have a pool. That's part of the reason the rates are so low. If a pool Downtown is a must for you, the one at the Golden Nugget is the best one there. (and better than many on the Strip)
