I stayed at the JW Marriott for a conference and was disappointed in many respects. First, it is in Summerlin and really far from everything: the airport, the strip and Red Rock Canyon. Be prepared to pay as much as $98 for an Uber (one way) to get around or be slavishly committed to their shuttle schedule. The resort is...

Thank you for the post and the specifics that were disappointing; understanding what were the causes of your displeasure helps me and the resort better understand the annoyances of your stay experience. You provided some good feedback and points that are well taken and I'll make sure to share those with the right teams.

While it is about 30 min away from the strip, it is VERY much worth the trip. This is one of the most beautiful Marriott properties I've stayed at. I think the only exception is the Kauai Marriott. The rooms are a bit old, but beautiful, clean and very well maintained. The grounds were not only beautiful visually, but deliciously...

My family stayed here for one night while visiting Las Vegas. Valet parking to great us as we pulled up. The room was huge with a small balcony overlooking the pool. The bathroom was the size of other smaller chain hotel rooms, massive. Maybe the best part of the stay was the casino attached to the hotel. It was the...

This hotel is very nice! The rooms are beautiful (not sure about the phone in the toilet room). My favorite things was how quiet this hotel is, I couldn't hear any of my neighbors at all, and they were there. It is a huge beautiful hotel. The Buffet was decent. The promenade cafe was great for a late night snack,...

4 of "the guys" went to Vegas and decided to stay off strip. Being a Marriott Platinum member I took a look at the JW Marriott property approximately 8 miles away from the strip. Hint- Taxi ride to Mandalay Bay is $60 Uber is $19. The hotel did not offer me an upgrade (I am Marriott Platinum) but upon request...

Thank you Dan for the overall great post! I am on the same page about the "feel" of the resort being familiar and old style, I am grateful to read that the service was accommodating and friendly in most aspects - I will take note of the less-than favorable comments about the food quality and pass that along to the...

I stayed at this hotel for just one night for a family birthday party. The room was large and had a great bathroom with full tub. If you are looking for a great hotel in Vegas off the strip this is the place. The pool and hotel grounds are great for relaxing and walking around. Another bonus was the water...

Not what I expect from JW Marriott. That said, I understand that this is Las Vegas and that Marriott has chosen to go with the crowd and offer a casino experience. I booked here hoping to avoid that experience, but was only partially satisfied. I did appreciate: -the secluded Palm Tower and the ability to access breakfast and pool without...

I would agree after reading your commentary, not what I would expect from a JW Marriott as well. However, I thank you for the positive mentions where deserved and I am sorry some parts of the stay experience were less-than-favorable. I am appreciative of the feedback and will pass along your post for improvements where needed.

We stayed three nights. I think in those three days I saw maybe 20 people. I am not a gambler so stayed away from that area. I spent days at the pool and it almost felt like I was their myself. It was wonderful! It's a huge hotel with two separate entrances. I love this place and would stay here...

This is about a 30 min taxi drive from The Strip so if you want to stay in Las Vegas and be near the strip, don't stay here! Visited as my husband was at a conference. Lots of facilities and main pool very nice indeed. Also used the spa one morning. Casino full of smoke so off putting. Very near...

Thank you for the nice and warm post! Agreed, transportation can be a challenge to and from the strip - however, the town has many additional choices for transportation to help alleviate the burden of cost - our friendly concierge can always assist!

I had an excellent stay. The staff were very accommodating. If I am in the area again I will stay again. The front desk staff were always present and ready to help. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. It is a beautiful property.
