At the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, guests have lauded the luxurious atmosphere, highlighting the spacious, well-appointed rooms and the hotel's overall cleanliness. While the amenities and location near the strip receive commendation for convenience, some visitors mention room for improvement and feel the hotel is slightly isolated. The value is a point of contention; room sizes and amenities draw praise, but service quality and unexpected fees cloud the picture. Noise disturbances are a recurring issue, and while some guests enjoy attentive service, others report frustration with inconsistency.

There’s a lot of conflicting information on The Trump Hotel so I thought I’d share our experience!

Location : Just barely (the tiniest bit) off the strip. 8-10 minute walk to TI, mostly down Fashion Show Drive which is a little empty at night. Closest hotel to the North is Resort World which is about a 15-20 minute walk. Biggest complaint is definitely the proximity to the train. It can be loud.

Hotel : Is it a little dated? Yes. Even being a little dated, is it still nicer than all the other places at a similar price point? Absolutely!
It is clean, good quality, and the rooms and bathrooms are BIG with full size windows. The only complaint about the rooms is that the windows aren’t as soundproof as you might expect so there can be some road noise. House keeping came everyday but only remade the bed. Didn’t touch towels or throw away empty water bottles on bedside table.

Dining : It is undeniably lacking for dining options. DJT is one half of the lobby. It feels like you’re eating at a Holiday Inn Restaurant. They serve the same small menu for lunch and dinner. There is a small coffee cart with expensive coffee and limited pastries for breakfast. Very different from most Vegas hotels.

Staff : 10/10! Friendly and helpful! Check in was super quick. The bellman was super fast and full of good information. Had a small issue with our key and they fixed it way faster than I expected!

Atmosphere : WAY more quiet than casino hotels. Doesn’t smell like smoke, or perfume to cover it up. Felt incredibly safe. No shenanigans in halls at 4 am. We loved it!

We stayed here twice in the first two weeks of August, so for the reviewer from NYC that said the lobby was totally dusty and staff were rude and the hotel outdated, i really question that, as we saw staff wiping down even the gold framing around the entire lobby (and it's big and high) and cleaning cleaning cleaning. This place was CLEAN. And compared to hazy smoky hotel casino lobbies, this place is paradise unless you like breathing in recycled air in COVID19 days. In a hotel like this, staff are simply not allowed to be rude, that doesn't fly. We interacted with probably 10 different staff in our two stays and all were very polite, well mannered, smiling, not too warm, but not too cold. The hotel is not dated, it's old style elegance and the rooms are elegant and lacking the usual stains, mini rips in wallpaper and other signs of neglect. Very clean rooms. Some people like it, others maybe prefer Hard Rock or Circus Circus, to each her own. The fact that this is located a 5-10 minute walk to the fashion show part of the strip is either a bonus or minus depending on how lazy you are and how much you want to be "in the action". For us, who are not too lazy to walk 30-45 minutes to get to the other end of the Strip while sightseeing and then back, the location was a welcome respite from the cannabis infused, covered in sleeze strip that it has become in recent years. And the walk to the strip is not in a bad neighborhood, it's literally about 5 minutes past a hotel construction site to arrive at the Wynn and the Fashion shops. We first booked the corner room and it had stunning views, even from the bathtub (our jets worked and yes you have to fill about 2 inches above the jets for it to work as is clearly indicated on the bathtub). Second time we stayed in a queen, equally nice. The restaurant food was better than expected as was the Trump wine (even bought a couple bottles to take home). Restaurant staff were very professional and courteous as were valets. Only complaint was the first night they forgot to bring up sheets for the sofa bed (which was fine to sleep on BTW). We would go to another Trump International Hotel, just not this one because Vegas has gone really downhill due to cannabis dispensaries everywhere.

I will be staying in this hotel again. Not because I am a Trump supporter, but simply for the no hidden cost and just second to non quality. The hotel is same old as other older hotels in town, but can not measure up to the quality. Filtered water system installed in all rooms, with own kitchen corner with coffee making and cooking facilities and complimentary water at all times. Other hotels charged 11 dollars for a kettle and 5.50 for bottle of water. Free parking. Other hotels charged me 8 dollars up to 4 hours stay. New air conditioning system so I felt fresh waking up. Not ill as other hotels. Friendly kind staff, unlike other moody hotels. This is just a basic suit. Pre booked price is competitive and I rather invest in top quality with a great location. Very nice indeed.

Upon arrival as a party of 6 with loads of baggage we weren’t allowed the use of the bell trolly so had to tip the bell boy to take bags to secure waiting area as we were blocking the entrance and then again when they arrived at the room, when speaking to the receptionist we got a feeling that we were being judged as the rouge family which was confirmed when 1000$ deposit was requested and a photo copy of my credit card then two further deposits of 34$. The family next to me booking in was treated with respect, also never had his credit card photocopied. After arriving at the room we noticed the children’s beds hadn’t been prepared so after 3 or 4 calls to reception finally got the beds properly made, no disrespect to the house keeping department as they were very efficient. Also security was very good. As per the website it makes out trump hotel does everything to make a child’s stay pleasant by providing tents and flash lights this didn’t happen and couldn’t be provided, we also asked for our room to have a cot upon arrival this didn’t arrive until we made the call to reception.

Bathroom was nice and modern and although we weren’t strip facing our views were very good.

Don’t think I’d stay here again

We traveled on a road trip that ended in Vegas with a stay at the Trump. We have stayed in many hotels since the Covid pandemic. The Trump provided the best service and experience. Everyone from valet, front desk, bell desk, security, pool food servicem restaurant and housekeeping provided the best service I have ever experienced before and during the pandemic. Everyone was helpful, polite, professional and respectful. Kelvin at the front desk was so nice and helpful. He is an excellent representative for the Trump organization. The bell desk promptly brought our bags. Valet uses text messages to retrieve cr which was very efficient. The Trump provided housekeeping, the only hotel to do so during pandemic, which made our stay so much more pleasant, beds made, trash removed, fresh towles. Christina in Housekeeping was very hepful with retrieval of sandles left behind. Other reveiwer complain of distance which makes no sense to me because we walked to many places on strip from hotel, right across from mall, some complains of traffic noise, I did hear train but only once or twice, I never heard car noise from freeway, which is close. Pool was very nice, on 9th or 10th floor and not in shadow of tower all day. The only disadvantage is just two restaurants, one at pool and one in lobby and no room service. However, there are 10-20 restaurants close by. Our son said sofa bed was fine and loved having his own bathroom in our corner suite. the views were amazing and the master bathroom tub was the largest I have ever seen. We have stayed at many differnent Vegas hotels but can't imagine staying anywhere else in the future. The pandemic rules were clearly stated, hotel seemed clean and safe. We had a wonderful and came home healthy.

The quality of services is far from that of a 5 star hotel

We have been staying (me, my wife and our 2 children) for 1 week and every day we face the same problems. Apparently, the number of employees is not enough to properly attend the number of guests.
The rooms are equipped with kitchen, but utensils (crockery, cutlery, etc.) must be requested daily (and we have to remember that we are 4 people, otherwise only bring 2), or you will have to buy cleaning supplies and you have to do the dishes (that's fine for an ordinary hotel, but do you go to a 5-star hotel to do the dishes?).
Cleaning services are poor: they always forget to leave water and coffee, and they often forget to remove dirty dishes (even when they bring a new set of dishes).
The pillows are horrible.
The hotel has valet parking, but you have to wait a long time in the cold until you bring your car.
We are really disappointed.
For half the price, we stayed better at Planet Hollywood, which is all right on the Strip.

Trying a new hotel. Every time I go to Vegas I always try to stay at a different hotel, this time I picked this to see what it was like.

Honestly, I have to say that this was a great experience. First off, we’ve never stayed at a Trump property, I guess they wanted us us to have the full Trump experience. I loved how they pampered us. They upgraded us to the 51st floor, a suite, that had a two person Jacuzzi that overlooked the strip.

The room was spacious with a huge master bedroom, the living room had a panoramic view, a kitchenette, but there was nothing stocked in there for security reasons. You have to call Housekeeping to get plates, wine glasses, silverware whatever you might need.

We had our own bath robes, slippers, the toiletries were great. We really enjoyed the shower.

I did go to the lounge to have a nightcap and we thought that the drinks were very expensive so we only had one, LOL.

Everyone that worked there, from the Bellman to the people that checked us in, service staff, housekeepers, and the concierge were very friendly.

It was close to the strip, easy walking distance, and they do offer a shuttle. It’s a easy ride to and from the airport. It was great to stay in a non-smoking non-gaming hotel.

I WOULD RECOMMEND, I WOULD go back!

This is the second time we are staying at the Trump hotel during our roadtrip to the west coast from Washington DC. We stayed in a corner suite both times with our three kittens and 13 yr old.

Great stay overall even with Covid. Masks are mandatory, plenty of hand sanitizer in public places.

Our suite is lovely with 2 full baths. A little dated but fine nevertheless. The master bathroom has a huge jetted soaking tub and is just huge! No complaints about the room at all. We stayed here for 4 nights going to CA and for over a week coming back. Very comfortable even with Covid. Pool is open. Limited menu at restaurant in lobby. We refused housekeeping on our return stay but you can schedule housekeeping at any time convenient to you. No one is allowed in the room while it is being cleaned.

Trump stayed at his hotel while we were there. If we had known, we probably would have left sooner before he came. Secret service everywhere, metal detectors and ID checks. Frankly a PITA. The main issue is that there is no room service due to Covid and you cannot get food delivery from Uber, doordash, etc because the Secret Service closes off the road leading to the hotel.

So Saturday night, I had to meet pizza and DoorDash delivery about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Waited 20+ minutes at a mall parking lot down the street. Coming back the Las Vegas policeman was nice enough to hold my 12x14x10 inch box of food and the large pizza box while I dug for my hotel room key. Had another ID check at the hotel door. Had to go through the metal detectors. Overall, everyone was nice about helping me with my boxes of food except for the guy before the elevators.

There is a podium before the elevators where you have to scan your room key: This is always there even without Trump staying. There is no place to put packages/food and the guy told me he cannot hold packages while I fumbled for my room key. Less than helpful and not you would expect at a five star hotel.

Overall, we like the Trump hotel. Other than the guy at the elevator security check, everyone else has been great! Just don’t stay when Trump is there.

Pictures of security and metal detectors in lobby and Fashion Show Drive closed off to traffic and everyone else except hotel guests.

My second visit here and I stayed 2 night on the weekdays of 3rd week of June. It's been awhile for me to travel since pandemic started. Everything seemed pretty much the same compare from my last stay. Fitness center and pool was open (no more towel services in the gym, but they provided towels for the pool) and not crowded. I really enjoyed that this hotel has a small kitchen in all of the rooms; NO MORE kitchenware (sliver wares, pots&pans, cups&glass) are provided in the room, but they will be provided upon requests. Although it is valet parking only and cost $37/ day, but you may ask for your car to be ready in the room through app they provide upon arrival. No more waiting for the car. Also, it is close to Chinatown (~5min drive) just in case if you are craving food at night. If you are okay with little bit off from the strip, want a less crowded place to stay without casino, and if you are not against the hotel owner, then I would recommend this is a decent place to stay for a couple of nights.

Since we are members of Hilton's properties, we had the opportunity to pick this hotel from their listing. There is only valet parking which works pretty well except if you are in a hurry, so call in advance to get your car out. The hotel offers shuttle services every 20 minutes from/to Wynn's and Caesars Palace; the drivers were very nice.
The hotel was very special. We were surrounded by total luxury from the moment we stepped into the lobby. The decor, ornaments and details are modern, fresh and very tastefully chosen. Colors and coordinates are just right. Absolutely worth the price paid.
There is a very nice restaurant across from the check in area. We did not eat there.
Employees were attentive and ready to help with special attention to detail. I loved the swimming pool which is located on one of the upper floors. We were two couples, we occupied a suite; one large king room and a one bedroom. The king had a jacuzzi and a shower. The one bedroom had a jacuzzi, separate bathtub and shower. A full kitchen and an ample living room. We relaxed and dined very comfortable. Since we were on the 34th floor the room offered a great view and most of all was super quiet. Since we occupied two rooms, we had our private entrance. All we had to do was to close the most outer door facing the corridor. Each suite has lights on the corridor when you call for service.
The hotel is located just across the Fashion Mall on a side street. It is a great location to stay, easy to drive in and out.
