This is a wonderful hotel, with very attentive employees! We arrived later in the evening after a 5 hour trip through a freak snowstorm (April 22nd), and the staff took care of our every need! There was someone to help us with our car, our bags, and even provided us with champagne upon arrival! The room was very nice, the...

Stayed here due to a conference at the hotel. I was upgraded to a lakefront cottage, which was beautiful -- excellent views, comfortable, well-appointed space. Staff was unfailingly responsive, maintenance superb. It was a beautiful setting.

The facilities were awesome!! I was there for a conference so I didn't have to pay for the room, but my receipt, for a very large room, was about $465 for two nights. This included taxes. It's more than I would pay for a room here, but it is a VERY nice place to stay

Spend a night here with my son and we had a fabulous time. I stayed in a junior suite in the main building. Great view of the lake and mountains. Service was excellent! From check in (with a glass of champagne) to check out. Pool and hot tub were open until late which is very good feature. We had the...

We really enjoyed the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, everything was great! Upon our first day of arrival we were delighted with the presence of Sheila in the Regency Club, she was very accommodating and treated us as family. We also had the pleasure of dining in the Lone Eagle Grille. We had Michael as our server and to be honest...

Although construction was going on at the time of our visit, we recognized the Hyatt standard being upheld in every other way. Let them know what type of view you would like- we had a view of the pool area undergoing construction but there are plenty of other views you can have of the many trees and mountains. Front desk...

The hotel is nice itself. But I am very disappointed in my stay. I booked a "family suite" , but the room doesn't even have any microwave or fridge. Families booking your stay here should know that. So be aware of this if you have a family and looking to stay here.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and bringing your concerns to our attention. The family suite is set up to accommodate families by featuring oversized built-in bunk beds, though our lakeside cottages are equipped with cooking utilities including coffee makers, microwaves, stovetops and full size refrigerators. During future stays, please let us know if we can do...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A spectacular setting on Lake Tahoe’s north shore with 500 feet of private, lakefront beach. Surrounded by towering pines and mountain greenery; 35 miles to Reno/Tahoe Int’l Airport; 40 miles to South Lake Tahoe Airport. Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino was recreated in the classic style of a 1920s alpine grand lodge. Exterior renovations of river rock and shingles complement the natural environment with colors echoing the tradition and sense of history of the original homes built in the Tahoe area. Extensive river rock landscaping and two outdoor fireplaces add to the guests' sense of arrival at the "Old Tahoe-Lodge" style entrance. The resort's Grand Lobby boasts crafted stonework, creating a cozy setting amid the warmth of an oversized double-sided fireplace, rich leather chairs and high-beam ceilings. The 421 guestrooms, including 24 lakeside cottages, have been decorated with natural pine, distressed wood, and leather furnishings, reflecting the setting with autumn colors of moss, brick red and wheat. Included in our Lake Tahoe resort's $60 million transformation was the addition of the Spa Terrace, a new three-story wing adjacent to the main 12-story hotel. Offering 138 luxury guestrooms with views of the Sierra Nevada skyline, the addition provides visitors with private balconies and breathtaking lake views. The Spa Terrace replaces the resort's former Aspen Terrace and overlooks the resort's new swimming pools. ... more   less

Restaurants were a bit tricky. We had dinner at their restaurant. We struggled a bit to find other restaurants in Incline Village. There are a few, it's just finding something you like. They all were pretty casual outside of the hotel. We used Trip Advisor to find other restaurants. There just aren't very many in the village. If you drive north a bit outside of town there were other nice towns too.

No they do not. As others have said, they have laundry services which are costly. Do your laundry in town instead. This is one of the challenges for today's family style of travel...they don't have microwaves, mini kitchens, etc. It's a hotel room...but it's one of the best places on earth!

Hi there! Indeed, we are a little far from Las Vegas - about eight hours by car! However, we can arrange shuttle service for you from Reno-Tahoe International Airport, which is about 35 minutes from our resort. Just ask the concierge before or during your stay!
