This refurbished barn was full of history and the hosts were very knowledgeable about the history of their place and the area. We had a great view of the bluffs and the grounds were beautifully kept and peaceful. Our room was comfortable and decorated with interesting American Indian artifacts. Breakfast was delicious.

Out of a 10 star rating we rate Barn Anew a 12 star. The aesthetics are awesome, and served breakfast always a treat to the palate and eye. Beyond the living legacy of the Gering-Scottsbluff Valley are the other guests who never fail to make interesting conversation. To the workaholic: leave the electronic devices and computers turned off; forget the...

This historic 100-year-old recently converted barn outside of Scottsbluff offers great accommodations, a wonderful hot breakfast served in the dining room, and beautiful artifacts from the area. The deck on the second floor provided a wonderful view of Scottsbluff Monument from dawn to dusk. The well-kept B & B has private bathrooms for all 4 guest rooms. Our hosts were...

I wanted a quiet secluded place to stay while back in Scottsbluff. Barn Anew was this and much more. Excellent host’s who, if you want, share their knowledge of the Oregon Trail and the local history of this renovated100 year old barn. It is immaculate and beautifully decorated with historic artifacts from the Great Plains. Enjoyed sunrise coffee on the...

I was visiting Nebraska over the July 4th Holiday weekend and had the most amazing experience at Barn Anew. I would most definitely recommend a stay here. The couple who own this have great stories to tell about their own personal experience traveling the Oregon Trail and serve the most DELICIOUS breakfasts! We had baked french toast while I was...

This place is a true "diamond, in the "bluff"). My husband grew up in Scottsbluff, NE and we were in town to tie up a few loose ends. He knew of this place and decided to book a room AND we are so thankful that he did! The history behind "THE BARN" is amazing and the owners Cher and Allen...

I didn't stay here, but attended a family wedding at Barn Anew. It's an awesome spot for an outdoor wedding. It wasn't one of those real large weddings, and I'm not sure how many guests that can easily accommodate, but it handled about 100-125 guests without a problem for this Saturday afternoon wedding ceremony.

We traveled to Nebraska for a family reunion, and were fortunate to discover Barn Anew, a delightful alternative to the standard lodging alternatives available. Cher and Allen are gracious hosts with extensive knowledge about the area. Breakfasts around the communal table provided both delicious food and interesting conversation with other guests. The décor highlights themes from the Oregon Trail and...
