Awesome place to get away. Well looked after and the owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful Took my 80 year old father and he thoroughly enjoyed the area and the camping. You would struggle to find a more relaxing place to stay. Photos of the billabong on the property Awesome

Perry's offers the full RELAX experience. This was our fourth visit to the Daly River Hilton. A beautiful shady camp site with direct access and views to the mighty Daly River. No visit has ever been crowded, mainly caravans, so we are the odd ones out camping : )
The entry road is not bitumanised and it doesn't have a boat ramp. We think this helps to maintain Perry's as a discrete gem on the river. It is out of the way. You are about 20 mins away to the Daly River pub and the local community. That is the point. You are here to get OFF the grid. Bring all of your own supplies. If you are camping be mindful there is no camp kitchen. Enjoy your meals on a camp fire. Again the real experience.
We love Dick and Carol for being straight down the line people. True Territorians at their best. They have so much knowledge for the local area and more than happy to share fishing tips.
Keep in mind that the largest point of difference between Perry's and all other camp sites along the Daly, is the large billabong on site. A second awesome fishing experience with beautiful birdlife to view. Tranquillity at its best, where you are not competing for space with other people.
We have now begun to bring family members to the property and hope to bring many more there in the future.

Can't believe I've lived in Darwin over 20 years and just found this wonderful spot.
Out of the way, quiet, genuine...
Dick and Carol wonderful real people
Camp sites large no overcrowding
I stayed in the fisherman hut..basic clean but everything one needed with plenty of character!
Amenities clean..
River scenes beautiful.
Bilabong wonderful. Alive with birdlife, some crocs spotted. Can hire boat to go fishing ..
Drinks in the evening by the campfire
This is not a 5 star resort but a wonderful real back to basics and grounding.. Just what I needed.
Will return.. again and again.

Did feel more relaxed the deeper we entered the property.
Met by Carol & Dick, greetings and shown our choice of sites.
No doubt about it. Wish we could have stayed longer, but hopefully is a next time.
Cheers to Perrys ....thanks heaps.

Dick & Carol Perry are wonderful hosts who run a caravan park cum fishing business on the Daly River NT. It is a bit of an adventure getting to their place especially as the road immediately after the Daly river bridge is being repaired and then there is 14 km of dirt tracks to get to their place. But once there you will receive a wonderful reception "put that handbag away, we can sort out payment when you decide to leave".
Leaving is the hard part as it is such a laid back place. Dick can keep you entertained with his tales for hours. The property is a casual "Territory" affair. It is not a "spick an span" resort. Water pressure to your van is not the greatest but the hospitality of the place makes up for that.
I am told that there are large Barra in their 11/2 km billabong but we only caught one undersized fish which went back.
The Daly river flows past you, but contains salt water crocodiles. The swimming pool is an enticing alternative.

Fantastic place where we could relax and be totally absorbed in the environment. Saw & heard lots of wildlife eg lots of crocs, birds, dingo, agile wallaby etc, etc. Dickinson & Carol were great hosts - thanks for the yummy frozen Mango!

What a great place to do what ever you feel like; relax, fish, bushwalking, swimming and much more! There is a great jungle track. The billabong is beautiful. It is pet friendly and you feel right at home with wonderful hosts, Carol and Dick.
Highly recommend 😊

Enjoyed our recent weekend visit to perrys on the daly. Dick and carol are great hosts and made us feel welcome. Carols coloured pigs in the front garden, a great talking point ( fragile though so just for looking at!) Beautiful to wake up to the scenery of the mighty daly river. Had a great shady camp spot, toilet block and swimming pool close by ; Took our own boat and it was great leaving it tied to the pontoon at the campground. Very happy to catch a Barra , wildlife beautiful to watch, crocs aplenty sunning on the sand banks and the lovely big green frogs a sign of a healthy ecosystem. Thanks for having us carol and dick, and thank you for welcoming our fur child tom too!

I've been going to Perry's for years - one of the most relaxing and peaceful places I know. I don't fish but what a bonus if you did.. Dick and Carol are wonderful hosts - perfect for this place. As said in other posts, you will need to take your own food (unless you catch a barra of course) - but its well worth getting off the track to take a trip to the mighty Daly.
