Halfway through our vacation, to evict us and vacate the rooms for a bigger group that came, the owner became aggressive towards us, trying to lie that we disturbed his clients. Then he threatened and shouted at us to leave because the pension is his property. Although the room was paid in advance and we had the right to stay, we left because we were afraid for ourselves and for the car parked in front of the pension, since the owner became very aggressive and dangerous. So, we had to leave in the middle of the paid stay, in the evening and unprepared, on a road of over 500 km to our home. Breakfast included: cheap hypermarket food, cheap stock jam, no water or other drink (coffee only). Pool: unmaintained, we were afraid to enter the water which was cloudy. Room: Poor quality bedding. Front door with glass from top to bottom - strong light from the street pillar penetrated all night, resulting in bad and short sleep. Bathroom: cheap soap diluted with water, bathroom with bad smell and thin door. Bad smell all day from the sewer pit. The goods: freshly cut grass in front of the room.

A very unpleasant experience from the beginning until the end. The hosts are very cold and they are oriented only towards profit - the only interest they have is that the clients spend as much as possible at their restaurant (only one meniu per day - a soup and a main course - tasteless meals / cheap and awfull food for breakfast, unsuitable for children). The furniture în the rooms was very basic, instead of a wardrobe, we had a improvised dressing room, built from gypsum walls, with a broken door and without light. The bathroom shelf was almost falling and everything was very dirty - from walls and floor to the bed sheets. We stayed there for 3 nights and every day we had to kill bugs in the room... Cheile Nerei is such a nice place with remarcable views and beautiful paths into the woods, that really worths a visit, but in a different guest house. I've attached a few pictures, but they don't truely reflect the bad experience we had there. We don't recomand this guest house !

No kindness from the woman who mostly took care of our group, ironic and mischievous comments all the time. Young groups are not respected at all and treated with superiority at every opportunity. When we arrived we were asked to park in the back, on a destroyed road, the main parking lot being for the guests whose faces they liked more, I guess. Prison rules, no music, food and drinks only from them, nothing allowed from the outside and any kind of noise highly frowned upon. Disappointing accommodation, it was cold in the rooms and we could only warm ourselves with air conditioning. Hot water in the shower only if I was lucky. Inadequate bedding, very rough, all the springs could be felt through the mattress. The pool praised over the phone for being heated by solar panels was very cold in May. The worst part was our frustrated host. We do not recommend this place and we will not return.

Unlike other pensions in the area, this one offers space, a good taste of design, good traditional food. You do not need a luxury tv for relaxing, but you have one in your room if can’t stay away from news. Very close of the most interesting mounting routes. Householders are nice and always willing to help, or assist you.

It's a great place to visit and to stay in Cheile Nerei. The two hosts are very kind and willing to help and guide you. The pool is also great and one can try rafting on Nera river. It has a lot of space and during nighttime you can see fireflies.
