We were very pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the rates were. The rooms are nothing fancy, but clean and very comfortable. Ours had a double bed and twin bunk beds. The beds were comfortable. We had a mini refrigerator. We had no air conditioning but was furnished with a fan and opened our window, which made all the difference. They... More

Hibernation House is a great value for an active vacation. My family stayed at Hibernation House in late July, 2016. We had a room with a full-size bed and twin bunks for the kids. While the room was adequate, it is not a place that you would want to hang out in. However, the lobby has wifi, and lots of comfortable... More

Very clean. Beds super comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Quiet rest. This is a beautiful spot. We stayed before entering Glacier. There is access to mountain bike trails and hiking at the Whitefish Resort. We would definitely stay here again.

Not impressed. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Super loud. When the person next room over flushed his toilet our toilet would gurgle loudly. No A/C, room smelled and apparently no house keeping, they came in and change the trash but that was it, couldn't make a bed or take out dishes from breakfast. Not worth the money.

This was my second stay with my husband and 16 year old son. We were here July 25-29 2016. We like it mostly because of the low cost, great breakfast, and Bree the front desk staff who is so friendly and engaging. The room is small with one queen bed and a bunk bed, there is a musty smell and... More

The room we had was a great size and they all appeared to be much the same size, there was a king size bed and bunk beds in the room. We were welcomed by the most nicest person we've met for a long time, his name escapes me but he was the proud owner of a bass guitar - please... More

My husband and I met friends in Whitefish. We were looking for a place that wasn't cost prohibitive. It is one of the older resort hotels there. So, if you are looking for new carpetting and really up to date rooms then don't go to this place. Our room had a queen size bed AND bunk beds. If you are... More

We stayed for a week visiting my daughter in the area and for the price it was great. Wonderful breakfast every morning and staff was very friendly. Weather your into biking, hiking, jogging, it is convenient to just walk out and have it all there.

Reminded us of our skiing days. Lobby with fireplace and wood lodge feel. Not a modern hotel. Clean room. Microwave and refrigerator. Laundry facilities. Friendly workers. Hot breakfast different each day. A couple of restaurants nearby.

Older hotel, but very nice. We had a queen bed with twin bunk beds and the kids loved it. Very quiet. Breakfast was made from scratch each day and the staff very very friendly and helpful. My daughter left her favorite stuffed animal and they sent it back to us!

Thank Shelly G

“The odd rooms face the parking lot. The even ones face the hill that is right there in front of you so neither has a great view. 102 is next to the stairs. 106 was great. 115 has an early employee that wakes you up each morning above you. Woke me up but not my husband.”
