My friends and I recently rented three rooms at The Garden Wall Inn for four nights. It was our first visit to Whitefish, and my daughter had recommended the Inn. I travel frequently, and will admit to being very high maintenance. I have never felt as comfortable or received better service anywhere else in the world as I did at...

We have never experienced anything like this on a trip. Chris and Rhonda have set out to take the B&B experience to a new level. They are so personable and helpful! EVERY DETAIL has been thoughtfully planned....like the delivery of a coffee tray in the morning, a multi-course gourmet breakfast (they are both trained chefs), chocolate truffles on the bed...

Garden Wall Inn is a lovely little luxury Bed & Breakfast. Chris and Rhonda were sweet and wonderful to me. I drove up and stayed one night, by myself, and would return if I ever find myself back in Whitefish. Chris was knowledgable and suggested places to dine, as well as paths for leisure walking. The room was immaculate and...

We spent two nights at The Garden Wall Inn during our stay in Whitefish. Our hosts and owners of the Inn, Rhonda and Chris were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We opted for a smaller room and we're delighted to find a cosy, comfortable well appointed room full of old world charm, right down to the rose in a crystal vase...

While researching accommodation options, I have to admit I was a little skeptical about this place given the overly-glowing reviews. It really is as good as suggested. Chris and Rhonda do a fantastic job. From the personalized check-in, wonderful recommendations on food and things to do to the amazing breakfasts every day, it's hard to beat and world-class. To highlight...

We were staying over Thanksgiving in Columbia Falls, when the hotel we were at lost power due to high winds and whiteout conditions. Without heat, water or power, we decided to move elsewhere for our remaining night. We called at about 10am to check for availability, and when Chris found out what had happened, he offered (we didn't even have...

I truly can't express how relaxing and enjoyable our stay at Garden Wall Inn was. We felt spoiled from the moment we walked in the door. The Garden Wall Inn provided everything for us on a winter getaway. Their attention to detail was impressive: chocolates on the pillows, fresh flowers, wine and hors d'oeuvres. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the warm inn during the beginning of the winter season. The breakfast was exquisite- fresh organic eggs in a puff pastry, fresh fruit, and delicious...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The award-winning Garden Wall Inn has been catering to discerning travelers since 1987. The impeccably restored 1920’s inn offers five luxurious guestrooms, each furnished with period antiques. Scrumptious three-course breakfasts are prepared by chef/owners Rhonda Fitzgerald and Chris Schustrom. The Inn is a convenient one-block walk from downtown Whitefish’s excellent restaurants, shops and nightspots. Only 25 minutes from Glacier National Park, the Inn is the perfect base for exploring the Park. The Inn is built in the "Colonial Revival" style with a gambrel roof and clapboard siding. The interior is accented by original solid maple flooring, arts-and-crafts fir moldings, and beveled-glass french doors. The guestrooms’ private baths boast huge claw-foot tubs, pedestal sinks, and black-and-white art-deco tile. Oriental carpets and fine antique furniture complement the lovely rooms. ... more   less
