Motel style accommodations with parking right in front of your room. We had a suite with two rooms, one of which clearly looked to be geared toward children as it was quite small but adequate. The room and bathroom was clean with AC. The price...More
The motel is located just two blocks from the west entrance to the park and one block from the main shopping area—souvenirs, art, t-shirts, and many restaurants. An ideal location – see note below.

My family stayed here one night during our Yellowstone adventure.
The location is great! Right outside the west entrance of the park and easy walking distance to anything in town.

I thought the accommodations were just fine. The room we stayed in looked just like the pictures and for me the bigger issue is that it was really clean. If you are looking for 5 star plush then this is not for you. But for me with my husband and kids it worked out just perfect. The only area in accommodations that they are limited in is there is not elevator. So you carry your bags to the second floor or you will need to request a first floor room. I also stayed in the lodge and did not go into the motel portion so I cannot speak to that. I also agree with the post above our breakfast was worth it - Get the Biscuits!
