True, we discovered electrical difficulties in the RV Park after many months of non-usage. We will be unable to discern the problem until the snow melts and the ground thaws as digging will need to be done. An extension cord was provided in the meantime,...More
It's true the pizza is fantastic- homemade artisan style that my kid liked too! The employees (not the owner- she wasn't there) were friendly and welcoming.
There are many grumpy signs and there were some pessimistic people there at the same time so I would...More
We stopped here for a soak on our drive down the Bitterroot Valley, having read about it online. Spent about an hour in the big, warm pool. Not really very hot, except right where the water comes out. But it was nice and peaceful and...More
The place is neglected, but it is a wonderful place to go after skiing, unfortunately, the woman doing the booking and waitressing stresses on any little infraction guests may put upon her. She was rude during our visit to the dining room. Taking every opportunity...More

How long have the present owners been here? We stayed some years ago and it was like the place belonged to them and their family and the "heck" with anyone else...just sounds like maybe these are new owners and it sounds very good now.

There was a group that "bought" the property several years back and ran it into the ground. Many horror stories have been shared. It was a lease to own deal and they took off in the middle of the night after not paying for quite a few of the services and products they received, including electricity, phone, food deliveries, taxes, etc. After their departure, shut down for cleaning and repairs took a month! It has taken a good bit more time to clean up the reputation of the springs. That job may never be done.
It is privately owned by a mother/son team. For 21+ years, the goal has been to maintain this historically significant property through its trials and tribulations. Though it is important that all guests enjoy their visit, there are guidelines that must be followed. Anyone that does not care to follow the laws set out by the state, liquor board, health department and ourselves, are welcome to spend their time at other hot springs. We strive for a family environment and often tire of enforcing rules which are clearly posted. We occasionally clash with guests but usually it is warranted. Apologies to all those who may have been caught in the cross-fire. The vast majority of our guests enjoy themselves immensely. We hope you will try again and see!
