Like Snoopy’s novels, our story starts out – “It was a dark and stormy night” when we arrived at the historic Stevensville Hotel in Stevensville, MT, after completing the first half of the Bitterroot Bike Trail that runs from Missoula south along Hwy 93 to Angler’s Roost just south of Hamilton, MT. After finishing the approximately 30-mile trip, my wife...

Gene and Robbie do an excellent job with this property, located in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley. Since there are not that many places to stay between Missoula and Hamilton, this Hotel offers a nice option for somewhere "in between." Local Restaurants and Attractions nearby.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, bathrooms in each room. Free wifi throughout the B&B. The family that's runs the B&B are amazing, friendly and very accommodating. Our family enjoyed sitting in the large living room socializing, large kitchen tables for having breakfast, beautiful porch to sit outside and walking distance to town. Quiet neighborhood.

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Montana. The hotel is in the center of town, but on a quiet street. The owners are gracious and helpful. Each room has modern upscale plumbing, lighting, heating and air conditioning. The porch extends on two side of the building allowing a great place to relax and enjoy your breakfast...

Recently we stayed at the Stevensville Hotel and really enjoyed the property and location. Robbie was great, just enough attention without feeling like we were intruding. In past experiences with B&B style facilities, the owner engagement can be a bit off and you feel almost like you are crashing someone's home. :) Here, we were left to our own devices,...

My wife and I stopped in on a bicycling tour road-weary and needing rest. Hosts Gene and Robbie welcomed us with open arms and made sure we had all we needed. A beautiful historic hotel set in a charming mountain town surrounded by stunning scenery. We look forward to coming back soon!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Stevensville Hotel's 5th Street Annex. These are six rooms located two blocks up the street from the hotel. Very nice. Quiet. The rooms have smart TVs so you can watch Netflix or Hulu or cast from your phone. The proprietors, Robbie and Gene, are wonderful people who will do whatever it takes...

My sisters and I had a lovely stay here. If you like original art, antiques, even creaky floors, you'll love this hotel that was once a hospital. I browsed the Montana book selection in the lobby for bed time reading. The beds are comfy and the thick terry robes a nice addition. Breakfast was high quality continental. A wraparound porch...

This is a lovely gem of an hotel - a converted hospital from the early 1900's and each room is different and charming, full of antiques and eclectic art pieces. The bathrooms are all updated and impecabbly clean and also have wonderful little details - like antique silver bowls full of washcloths. We had the Ward Room and the beds...

Could you find a charming bed & breakfast in Stevensville, Montana in the old hospital with rooms named after doctors and nurses? We had a huge room filled with antiques and a beautiful garden with windows to open to smell the woodsy fresh air. The living room is filled with original, unique art and artifacts... most are for sale. All...
