The location is great, right at the eastern edge of Glacier National Park at the end of Going to the Sun Road. Check in and out was fast and efficient and the restaurant was decent, although a little bit pricey. I stayed for one night, the last night of the operating season and got a single queen bed room. The...

I booked one of the cabins for a family vacation visiting Glacier National Park. We hopped around between both sides of the park and up into Waterton in CA, and this was one of our favorite stays! Location is convenient to GTSR and easy access to both Many Glacier and Two Medicine areas. Everyone on the staff we dealt with...

The St. Mary Lodge is a nice place to stay while on the east side of the park. The options are really pretty limited unless one is wanting to camp. The room was nice and beds were comfortable. The lodge and resort also has a restaurant, bar, and gift shop. Located next door is a service station and sporting goods...

Stopped here on road trip. Called in reservation asking for nonsmoking nonpet room. Was told we needed to stay in the nicer west building which was pet-free but at higher cost. Ended up costing $220 for a small, one queen bed room. There was no WiFi in these rooms. The bathroom was tiny with the smallest toilet I have ever...

We stayed in six different places during our visits to three national parks. St Mary Lodge is at the bottom in terms of quality, by far. The teeny bathroom had peeling paint, the vent was all rusty, the shower curtain was unraveling, the bed pillows were very flat, and the sheets were worn. It was obvious that the owners were...

We were in the strip of rooms across the street from the main lodge. I was initially taken aback by the small size and bouncy bed. It was clean though funky old. The lodge is right outside the entrance of Glacier National Park, and there are not a lot of reasonable choices.

We stayed in a room right above the lobby (room 656). It was small with one bed and a tiny bathroom. Not much room for your luggage and no elevator to help you bring things up. The room prices are quite high for what you get. We paid $145 at the end of the season for a very basic room....

We stayed in the part of the lodge that is across the highway from the big lodge. Frankly, I felt $179 was a bit high for our room. The room seemed to be about 200 years old. Small room, tiny TV, outdated decor, windows that wouldn't lock, paper thin pillows and rock hard bed. The Lodge staff were very nice,...

When I did my research I was surprised at the high prices. I have stayed in National Park lodging before at Grand Canyon and Tetons . These rooms were simple and comfortable.I thought I had a good idea of what to expect. I rationalized the high price by focusing on my support of the National Parks. The one room cabin...

We got lucky. Since it's the end of the season they upgraded us to the fancy lodge instead of the hotel rooms. As can be expected prices are higher for this remote mountain town but the park is beautiful. Breakfast is good , dinners just ok but that's usually the case in national parks
