We stayed in the wing off the main lodge for 5 days in September. Staff is excellent and food in the restaurant is very good (I only had breakfast there). Catering and meeting space is excellent. Rooms are basic, but nice. A bit of a shortage of hot water, regardless of time of day. Pool is wonderful. Food at the...

We stayed at Chico Hot Springs for 2 nights in mid November. The first night was very nice. We had a delicious dinner and all the staff were very friendly. The second night however took a turn....I kept hearing sounds during the night and kept telling myself the heater must be making noices, maybe something outside??? Then around 3:30 I...

The short story on Chico is that it's top-flight compared with Montana resorts, but don't expect the luxuries of top-flight U.S. resorts. What Chico provides -- and does well at -- is Montana "rustic." Staff are friendly and professional, but you won't find greeters, bellhops, or concierge service. Rooms are pleasantly Western but also Western spare in decor. Very few...

Chico Hot Springs Resort is about an hour's drive from Bozeman, MT. Nestled at the mouth of a canyon road at the foot of the Absaroke Range, this is a historic mountain resort with many activities and services. We had visited before to use the hot springs, but elected to stay a night following the Thanksgiving Holiday with friends. First:...

I've lived in Montana for nearly 6 years and finally got to visit Chico and I was not disappointed. I went with 4 friends (and 3 dogs) over a Saturday night. Lodging: My date and I stayed in the Main Lodge in a room with a bathroom. The room was very small but remember it's a 100+ year old facility....

This was my first time to Montana, and the resort was a wonderful way to see the state. Everyone was very nice, including the group at the check in counter. The pools were incredible, and I felt more relaxed with every minute soaking. The room had no fan, so it was a bit warm (and very quiet) during the night,...

We go to Chico a lot. It us a great place. Rustic rooms in the lodge; no phone, TV, and a shared bathroom down the hall. Grandkids love it because they can be the first in the pools when they open at 7:00 AM. Then breakfast. The brunch on Sunday is always great and very reasonably priced. Dinner in the...

We have been hearing about this place for several years from my Uncle and others who live in MT. We finally had occasion to stop in on way home to TX last week. What a treat! We started with the massage and foot soak; followed by soaking in the hot mineral springs. After wine in the room, we had dinner...

Had the privilege of attending a wedding here. Awesome setting for my friends western wedding. Staff did a phenomenal job. Had drinks in the bar which had ambience galore. My favorite was the restaurant and fine dining. They prepare duck like no other place I've dined. Also had an unusual flaming dessert created inside an orange. Atmosphere was down home...

Really great place. We stayed for two nights in one of the cottages with a spectacular view. The cottage was comfortable and spatious. The whole place was charming and with a lot of rustique atmosphere. Loved the hotspring. Food really good, but somewhat overpriced in the dining room. However, warmly recommended!
