We have stayed at this B&B twice now. The first time, the weather was cooler and so was our room. This last stay in early July the weather in Missoula was unseasonably hot (95 degrees) and so was our 2nd floor, south-facing room. We were able to get the air conditioning to cool the room down before going to bed,...

This summer was probably the fifth or sixth time we have stayed at Goldsmith's over the past eight years. EXCELLENT experience as usual. Perfect location on the river and near Rattlesnake Creek, just across the bridge from the UM campus. The rooms are beautiful, the views are fine, and the people are pleasant and accommodating. This place is dependably great....

The Goldsmith bed and breakfast was a delightful place to stay in Missoula. The house beautifully kept, my room was simple, yet charming, clean and very comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Loved the porch with the river view; it made for a very peaceful morning to sip on coffee and gaze upon the water. Great location too; within walking distance to downtown...

We stopped in for one night's stay at this beautifully appointed bed and breakfast. Like other reviewers, we were a little surprised at the do-it-yourself hospitality (envelope with keys and instructions) however socializing with a host is not the most important aspect of a stay for us. Rather, we were very pleased with our spacious room; part of the room...

The Goldsmith Inn was WONDERFUL! Although we were on our own until breakfast, our party of 12 had the entire home for our use and we enjoyed all the rooms, the porch, and the close proximity of the river (where we watched inner tubers float by.) We took walks by the river and into the nearby park. The weather was...

How would you like to be introduced to your B&B experience as follows: A knock on the door is answered by a sleep dazed woman who says the host is not there. As we look further, we find an envelope with our names on it and instruction on how to enter saying Meg wont be there. Though we could understand...

I am so sorry that I was not at the Bed and Breakfast to personally greet you upon arrival and that we did not live up to your expectations. Please accept my sincere apology. It is only by hearing complaints that we can improve. Our manager, Meg, was attending her annual family reunion the night you checked in and that...

Extremely pleasant B & B right on the river. I've stayed four times in different rooms, all of which have been immaculate. I've stayed at "fancier" B & B's and not enjoyed them nearly so much. Goldsmith's feels like a home-away-from-home, not like an antique store with a bed in the middle.

I was in Missoula for business and stayed 1 night at Goldsmith's. Located right on the river yet virtually right in town, it is quiet and idyllic. Other than the train (which is hard to get away from in this part of town), there was very little noise. Meg made me feel right at home the minute I arrived. My...

We recently spent four nights at Goldsmith's Bed and Breakfast on our travels through Montana. Having stayed in many bed and breakfasts in the past, I can tell you that this was one of the best. The location was terrific, our host Meg full of great antidotes, and our breakfasts were outstanding! We stayed in the Clark Fork room, on...

I rented the top floor suite. What a great room! The view was fantastic, with the river on one side and views of Mount Jumbo on the other side. There was a great seating area and plenty of room. Breakfast was very tasty and the host was quite welcoming. There was a bit of a mix up the first night...
