This is really a mini-hotel rather than a B&B with six rooms and no contact with the owners and little with the staff. Disappointing as these are always appreciated elements of the B&B experience. Nonetheless, these are sensible lodgings close to the middle of town,...More
Nice spot by the side of the river - our room was reasonably sized with good view of river. Shame not to have been met by any of the owners or staff - would have been nice to get some local advice on what to...More
We stayed here (largely the result of reading other TripAdvisor reviews) both before and after a five night rafting/camping trip down the Main Salmon River in northern Idaho. We stayed two nights prior and three nights after our float. The location is great for exploring...More

The Craighead room is one of my favorite rooms at Goldsmith's. It's on the first floor across from the kitchen but is quiet. It is a large room with a table/chairs and other sitting areas, a fireplace, TV, and bathroom. I believe it has a queen size bed. The room is very nicely decorated but doesn't have a river view. My husband and I were very comfortable in it. We haven't stayed in the Meadowlark room.
