This is to anyone that books rooms here for the Bucking horse sale. My father booked us rooms here back in the begining of December and upon checking with both the front desk clerk and the owners was given 3 rooms complete with confirmation numbers. ........Fast forward to today (April 27th ) he receives a call from the Olive Hotel...

Apparently, every hotel room in Miles City was booked up and my two children and I were faced with sleeping in our car after a gruelling 12 hour drive. When we were told about the Olive Hotel, I was ecstatic to find out they had a room available and even more excited to think we would get to stay in...

Historic hotel with a beautiful lobby and a front porch with tables and chairs. Room was sparse but comfortable. Hardwood floors; wooden chairs and table. Shower worked great - toilet is small and old fashioned. Staff were very friendly - but don't expect them to be at your beck and call - they also work in the casino next door....

A $60 motel priced at $80. Incompetent staff - check-in took 20 minutes. Assigned a dank room without a view when a better one was available at same price. Totally run-down. Historic? Well, old anyway. Renovate!

I would love to give this quaint piece of history a 5 star, alas I cannot. We went to see where a portion of Lonesome Dove was filmed. When you walk into this lovely place you can feel the history. The odd thing was we stayed 20 minutes, walking in the lobby, hallway, peeked up the stairs and never saw...

The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Room was clean. I stayed in the block of rooms not part of the historic hotel, I regret that. Hotel built in late 1800, beautiful wood work, some antiques. In the longe, large painting of Custers last stand. Need to read the history about the artist, amazing what people could do years...

Historic old hotel. Rooms are very old style, but they are working on updating them.lobby is gorgeous, has one older elevator. It may look sketchy, but it's safe to stay there. Not a fancy place by any means, but the history of it and its downtown, is why I stay during the Bucking Horse Sale. I've stayed in both the...

Was warned about this place in the past but it was the only "game in town" when I stayed there last summer. The staff person was insistent the I stay in the rooms across the street. Note this was the filthiest, nastiest, room I have ever stayed in. The door wouldn't even close or lock. The carpet behind the bed...

After having two horrible nights at the Motel 6 we decided to try the Olive Hotel. It was nice to be near the local restaurants and park but that's it. The room was filthy. Stained carpets, trim around the door had been chewed up by a dog, no knob on the shower, the fire alarm was activated from the steam...

Stayed in older motel across from original hotel. Locks on doors very sketchy. Had to park in the alley and it didn't feel safe. Clean room but old furnishings. Maybe the original hotel would have been nicer?
