If you are lucky enough to stumble across this rustic treasure in rural Montana, make sure to try the cakes, the fluffy white rolls and, of course, the pie. Perhaps not the ideal spot for a vegetarian but the delicious breads and home-made food appeal to most everyone, as does the atmosphere of a cozy stagecoach stop in the old...

My husband and I stopped in Martinsdale for lunch after visiting the Bair museum. It was a long ways to our next stop and were delighted with the menu, food and service given in this out of the way spot. My husband had a hamburger with chips but I settled for an order of chicken strips from the "child's" menu....

While on a road trip, we stopped in on a whim to check out the Crazy Mountain Inn and its restaurant. My partner and I were both super impressed with the lemon cream pie. BEST pie in Montana - so good that we took another slice to go. Thank you for such a warm welcome and wonderful hospitality. We won't...

We stopped in Martinsdale for dinner at the Crazy Mountain Inn and we are very glad that we did. This place is all Montana and the food is amazing. We had great service, great conversation, and great food. It was a perfect evening. We can't wait to return to Martinsdale. Best of all, our bill for dinner for two was...

Great old Inn in small town worth the trip! Near Bair museum which is also a great spot to visit. I just had sour cream lemon pie for lunch. It has won awards they said and I was not disappointed. Best pie I have had in a long time. Rest of family also was delighted by this place.

Spent the night there and had a couple of meals, friendly family run operation. Clean and neat as a pin rooms and bathroom. Very cool step back in time and would recommend to anyone who doesn't need a pool, spa or gym.

Food and service in this establishment is excellent! One of my favorite restaurant , food is great all the time! I'm hooked with Cheryl's apple pie, really yummy! Totally worth a drive but you need to call first just to make sure they are open. Restaurant is closed during winter :-( I miss their food and can't wait to head...

Family owned. Great pie, homemade food, tidy, cozy, comfortable. And the only place to eat in town! Better hope it is open! And worth a short detour from US 12 to get there anyway. Actually it is a few miles shorter to detour via Martinsdale rather than stay on US 12 if travelling between Harlowton and Helena. Both ways are...

What a delightful Inn! After vising the Bair Museum we decided to check out Martinsdale, hoping for some lunch. We discovered the Crazy Mountain Inn and had a wonderful time. It is a very rustic spot with wonderful food and service. We did not stay overnight but asked if we could check out the rooms upstairs. They were all so...

This is a old inn that is located downtown Martinsdale. There is a small cafe that is open for lunch and dinner. The menu is mostly sandwiches and soups. They do claim to have the best chicken fried steak. We had the mushroom and swiss burger, the crazy mountain burger and the open faced roast beef sandwich. All were very...
