Great place to stay. Very close to restaurants, music, arts, fishing, hiking and horses. The rooms are fabulous, clean and comfortable. The vintage elevator adds to the charm. I especially love the train station across the street and all the activity that comes with it. I feel like I've stepped back in time. The restaurants attached to the Murray are...

We were only able to stay one night in the hotel and our room was wonderful! Modernized but still old western enough to make you feel like you are stepping back in time. The elevator is the original and is only used for luggage as only employees are trained to run it. The decor was worth the trip alone! Attached...

The Murray Hotel is a fun experience in itself. Quaint and modernized just enough to be comfortable, but leaving history untouched. Our room was VERY clean and comfortable, flat screen TV, updated bedding, basically everything that you need. Probably not suited for children, but a fantastic place for couples. Within walking distance of places to eat and drink. Staff was...

We stayed at The Murray Hotel based on a reco from a friend who stayed the previous year. A bit pricier than the chains but we had a junior suite with 2 queen beds, I believe 'The Cowgirl Room'. They set up an extra air conditioner and had already cooled the room before we arrived. The noise from the air...

This is an old hotel and does not have the fancy amenities. Elevator use is only for taking luggage up and down & it is a 4 story building. No pool. Not ideal for children as halls echo and disturb guests. Close to restaurants & shopping. About an hour to Yellowstone's NW entrance. Everyone at hotel and Livingston is very...

The Murray Hotel in Livingston MT continues to give the visitor a taste of the west in a boutique hotel that has clean suites with mini kitchens, flat screen TVs, air conditioning, and attached bathrooms that one must step up to use. Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, soaps, makeup removal cloths, and even toothpaste and toothbrushes. Because Livingston is a "train...

Coming to Montana for a wedding, we virtually took over this hotel. It is an old, historic building about 100 years old. You walk in to another century with someone working the elevator for you. We had the Ralph Waite suite which I am told is the biggest. A sitting room, kitchen area and updated bathroom. Very comfortable and great...

We had the opportunity to stay at this historic hotel during our recent travels. The receptionist went out of her way to keep in touch with us, in order to accommodate our last minute reservation. Note that if you are the modern hotel type, this might not be for you. But to absorb the old west feeling Livingston has to...

This historic hotel is full of western charm that has been upgraded with modern amenities. The lobby is like stepping back into the Old West, complete with an elevator over 100 years old that still works! The room we stayed in was a combination of two rooms, with a corner view of the historic train depot, a large sitting area...

The Murray has been around a long time and anyone who's anyone has most likely stayed here. It's a Hotel, Restaurant, Bar & Coffee Shop all connected together. The rooms are really comfy. They have fun amenities baskets in the bathroom. Comfortable beds and A/C. The hotel is very unique and has a lot of history.
