We got a late start on our trip and wanted to get as far as we could that night. Lima Montana was as far as we felt we could travel. The Mountain View Motel was very dated, and could really use some remodeling and a good cleaning. But the owner was very pleasant. Next time we will stop in Dillon...

The rooms are a nice size although the bathroom is a little small. TV is small and old and the remote did not work. The price is inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Our room was very cold when we got there as the heat was off. We turned on the heat and let for a couple of...

Great location, this town is so quant and fun. Go to the PEAT for dinner. The room was nicely appointed. It reminded me of the 1980's but in a good way. clean beds, quiet hotel, with good sized rooms. No breakfast, but who needs it really. old fashioned Montana hospitality with excellent internet.

We booked a room for a convenient location to stay while we dug for opals at Spencer's Opal Mine (very fun place) and for visiting the Red Rocks Wildlife Refuge. I had called for a reservation a couple days ahead and they offered a 2 queen room for $56 and change. The website photos looked OK; definitely knew it would...

Yup, nice owners and terrible accommodations. It's just a rundown place in a small town next to the interstate highway. The owners are truly nice but the place had seen better days. The rooms are stifling hot with little ventilation and the staff all smoke and you can't leave windows open. Because of its location and the lack of competition...

Lima Montana has a small town. Everyone is friendly. For me it was the perfect place to come off the continental divide trail and get a good night sleep do some laundry and have a shower. Very relaxed atmosphere, The owners Mike and Connie are really friendly and very helpful. A lot of travelers stay here so you get to...

We stayed at this motel for a few nights while hunting near Lima, mostly because of its proximity to where we were hunting. It was sufficient for what we needed; warm, dry and a place to rest our heads. I probably wouldn't bring my wife and kids here but I would stay here again with my buddies if hunting in...

This was a very nice stay for my family with young kids. We read the reviews and trusted the good ones we read. And it was great. Older building but the friendly owners keep it nice and clean. We were pleased that there was a full size kitchen and that the room was plenty big enough. Beds were comfy, clean,...

I loved my week-long stay at the Mountain View Motel in Lima, Montana. Connie and Mike go out of their way to make guests feel at home and comfortable. Our room had everything we could need--comfy bed, soft towels, small refrigerator and microwave, excellent wifi and cell phone service. The bench swing out front was delightful. Very much appreciated the...

We stayed here on our way to Glacier Park and on the way back. The owner barley maintains the RV Park in the back, but you are around people so we felt secure. He only charged $15 on the way up and we told him all we wanted on the way back was electricity and he charged $10. Pretty good...

“Before judging the negative comments think of why you might need to be here in the first place...be thankful for a safe and dry place when looking for a place to rest your eyes, feed your family, get fuel and food, and maybe be stranded like were...we cant al be the Hilton!!”
