Great B&B! Nick and Liane were greats hosts, breakfast was tasty and the house is wonderful. It's located walking distance to Last Chance Gulch. Be sure to check out the church across the street. It's stunning.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Barrister. Liane was a wonderful hostess and made us feel very welcome. Her brother, Nick, has beautifully restored this historic home and also made us feel at home. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast the next day was delicious. We would definitely stay at The Barrister the next time we are in... More

Well, let me just start by saying 'Wow'. Because that is how we felt, about the whole experience for our first time at The Barrister Bed and Breakfast. The house was full of beautiful antique decor and furniture, a mini-grand piano, beautiful breakfast area, and boasts THE PERFECT covered front porch (which was probably my favorite part) with comfortable table... Nick and Liane were wonderful hosts! The home is beautiful and it was fascinating to hear about the work that went into getting it to that level of elegance. The rooms were very nicely decorated and a carafe of ice water and a couple glasses of wine were waiting for us each evening when we got back to our room.... More

My daughter chose this B and B as the place to stay while she checked out Carroll college. She chose very well. Nic and his sister Leeann were helpful and very interesting to visit with. The entire house was beautiful decorated but comfortable. The location was excellent to walk around the community and enjoy the history and beauty. We were... More

This is a beautiful old Victorian home just a short walk from great restaurants and shopping and a gorgeous cathedral. The hosts were absolutely lovely people. They provide a glass of wine and light snacks in the evening and the breakfast was delightful with quiche, yogurt, sausage and toast. The room was spacious with lovely linens and towels and lots... We just returned from 5 nights at the Barrister B and B. And we had a delightful experience. Liane and Nick made us feel right at home. We had most of the rooms booked for a wedding. We enjoyed the parlor for visiting, the smaller parlor for the guys watching football and a lovely breakfast every morning. They were very... More

We had a great night at Barrister Bed and Breakfast earlier this week. I selected them because we were traveling with our dog and they are dog-friendly. We stayed in the Captain's Room, which was lovely, and walked down to Bert and Ernie's for dinner and to walk around the historic district. When we got back, Liane had very kindly... More
