Mirtos Hotel is a family run hotel at the heart of Mirtos. The owners are charming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The place seems to be the hub of village life frequented by residents, visiting tourists and locals alike. Price is good value and includes a nice breakfast delivered with freshly squeezed orange juice. The restaurant / taverna...

I stayed at the Myrtos Hotel for 17 immensely happy days. The hotel taverna is a focal point for the village, while the hotel provides inexpensive lodging. Owner Manolis Petsagoraukis is a charming man who is #1 and his wife, Gianna runs the taverna and has assembled an impressive list of Cretan wines. Culinary specialists Thespina and Dona ably fulfill...

Three times we traveled to Mirtos 2016, in may, june and july. Our meals in Mirtoshotel were wonderful. Jionna and Manolis very friendly. It was hot, but there under the wine you had enough shadow and from the sea a lovely wind. We enjoyed very much and will go back in 2017. BECAUSE we felt very good there!!!

Old friendly hotel In Myrtos we stayed at the hotel Myrtos, located right in the center of the village. Room 222 is a charming room with a view of the sea from the tiny balcony. The hotel served a very nice breakfast in its restaurant.

Always a pleasure to eat at the myrtos hotel. The food here is traditionally Greek , and with a very good choice of home cooked food. We opted for the chicken cooked in the oven, with slices of orange. The chicken melted in your mouth, and was served with the best roast potatoes I have had for a long time....

A lovely shady taverna under the mulberry trees. The lamb from the oven and rabbit stiffado were excellent. Highly recommend making the trip out of Ierepetra, having lunch and a swim. Lovely sea breezes and excellent service.

The Hotel Myrtos used to be excelent with the kitchen ran by the owners wife, she also did a lot of the cooking but then the let the food side out to another group and the food quality dropped dramatically. The lady is now back in control and everything is as was. My favorite is the prawn saganaki. The service...

We liked this place - especially the price and value. We had a nice room with a view over the sea, so ask for a top floor room when booking - and again at check-in. Bed is a bit hard, room is small but the tiny balcony made up for it. The location is literally 1/2 block from the pedestrian...
