What an awesome hotel. The staff was most attentive. The food at the restaurant was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to go back again. My sister, my cousin, and I stayed here for a night. We really had a great time. Thank you.

Like going back in time! A small town with an amazing history. The Master Suite at the Grand Union was simply stunning, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was amazing (where else are you going to find Emu Tartare?). Highly recommended!

We stayed in the Master Suite, with three large windows looking out onto the Missouri river. Breathtaking view at all times of the day, but maybe most beautiful in the evening when the lights from the bridge are reflected in the water. We stayed in nice hotels during this road trip, but could have fit any two of those rooms...

A friend of mine and I did a road trip and we managed to get a reservation at this hotel. We both love old buildings and this was just a wonderful place to stay. You really seem to step back in time when you walk in the front door. Staff was very pleasant and the setting of being right on...

You don't stop at a hotel like this for modern conveniences. Instead, you stop to marvel at the restoration of this 19th century marvel. As interpretive signs along the river explain, this was as far as steamships could travel up the Missouri River. It was about as lawless as you can imagine. One sign referred to a block of Main...

What a beautiful historic hotel. Just like walking back in time. As we checked in, the front desk clerk gave us a brief history of Fort Benton including showing us the huge front room in the hotel where people in the wild old west days would sit and watch the wild and rowdy cowboys riding their horses on the main...

We stayed at the Grand Union Hotel Tuesday July 7th. 2015 for a night. Our first impression of the historic hotel was wow the restoration was spot on from pictures. I also liked that the inside of the building was not old and musty smelling like the pioneer hotel down the street. Very impressive architecually inside as well as the...

We've been here several times and each time the Grand Union continues to be a total pleasure. The staff are very professional and personable! Food, rooms, location superb. Fort Benton is so historical and there are great museums.....after you finish this, put your kayak in the water and spend a week on the Missouri River.

Stayed at the Grand Union on the 1st night of a 4 day motorcycle trip with some friends. What a fabulous place, loaded with history and ambience. Great rooms, modern but with the feel of 19th century Montana Territory. Also had a great meal in the Union Grill. We all had something different and no one was disappointed. Would highly...

Staff, food and rooms were all superior at this establishment. Room rates include a larger than unusual continental breakfast. Right on the Missouri River this hotel's vies only compliment their style. There is an elevator as well as a grand staircase to the rooms upstairs. Free parking right out front.
