Found the Whistling Swan off of TripAdvisor, was not disappointed. Mark was friendly and excellent to deal with. The room was very nice and clean, beds were very comfortable, slept longer than we intended to after a long day on the road. Would stay here again if we're ever in the area.

The location is convenient to get into GNP, Mark the owner was very helpful, and the room was exceptionally clean. The motel is very small (~10 rooms), and unfortunately is very near the train tracks. Also, there is no air conditioning in the room, only a small fan, so we had the windows open to try to cool off (adding...

Our group used 4 rooms here during a visit to Glacier National Park. The group had stayed here 2-3 years before but I didn't make that trip. We all had great experiences in our stay at Whistling Swan. Mark, the owner, was very accommodating. The rooms are adequate and clean, and the rate is fair.

Our room was clean and warm when we arrived. Check in was just down the street at the Glacier Park Trading Company. Dinner within walking distance at the Aspenglow was good (bison and elk burger). Breakfast (the best meal!) was also within walking distance just down the street at the Two Medicine Grill (five stars for them!). We were the...

A comfortable bed, but no amenities. It is a one hour drive to the east end of the Going to the Sun road. We did get a nice view of the railroad tracks with freight trains running all night. The price of $115 per night seemed high for what we got. The owner referred us to the café he owed...

Don't judge this from the outside (or the town for that matter). We decided to stay here because it fit our budget and all we really needed/wanted was a place to sleep. East Glacier is rather 'laid back' to say the least. We checked in at another place rather than an office but it was only a couple of blocks...

Very nice accommodations and people! It was clean, quiet and comfortable. We stayed for one night and it worked perfectly for catching the going to the sun tour in Glacier National Park. The owner also made great recommendations for dinner and sightseeing in the area!

We found the Whistling Swan to be a well located, nice place to stay. There was a little glitch with the room when checking into the property, but the owner, Mark, and manager, Beth, were more than accommodating to correct the situation. It made the stay there much better than we expected. Our room, #10, was a completely separate room,...

Part-motel, general store, car rental agency, restaurant, and who-knows-what-else, this place offers small but comfortable rooms off a dreary courtyard at a fair price for singles. The double seemed steep. You are sure to be in the center of things by staying here in this one street town. (More accurately called "East OF Glacier".) The charm of the place comes...
