We weren't expecting a lot in an "off the beaten path" location, but this place is a pleasant surprise. It is situated in a nice grove of pine trees that help break the wind and keep it quiet. The family that runs it takes very good care of it and is a wealth of local information. The bed slept well,...

We came into town via train. They picked us up @ the train station & brought us to the motel, no charge. We only stayed one night, but they held our bags all day while we toured Glacier National Park, no charge. After our tour, they allowed us to wait for our train out of town in another room, no...

Built and run by family members and only .6 miles from downtown I was awed when we entered our room. 2 doors one from the front, one to the back, 3 windows and a large space with a comfortable bed and fresh linens every day. A table for 2 to eat and play games on, top notch micro, fridg. (froze...

Not fancy, but generally large rooms to spread out in. Visitors can often be seen outside in the evening talking to their other neighbors about their adventures in Glacier. This motel was started by the Sherburne family. The oldest member of the family worked with the Blackfeet Indians at a trading post in the Many glacier Valley. The biggest lake...

It's an average room, that gets the job done. We booked 2 rooms, for 2 nights, and it worked. The rooms aren't fancy; featuring a separate room with a shower and toilet, very tiny sink area next to an average bed, a microwave, a mini fridge, a long rod to hang clothes (with shelf above), and an old box-style tv....

We absolutely loved staying at this wonderful motel. And now Terry has added a fridge, microwave and coffeepot to each room since we were there in early July of this yr. I slept like a baby on the bed, the shower was wonderful and it was so clean. It was so close to the Whistle Stop, Brownie's and other things...

There are not many options when you are in East Glacier near the end of the season. And by "not many", I mean one. Literally, at a certain time of year, there is one motel that is still open. Now the time of year we choose for vacation is not their fault by any means - so just be aware...

This motel is just what I was looking for, when I made reservations for our motorcycle group. I wanted a motel outside of the park, that look like it should be there. The motel was rustic, clean, and nice people. They put our group close together the best they could. Rooms are big, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom could use a little...

Stayed two nights a week apart. Comfortable beds, and shuttle to Amtrak. What more could you want, one thing I would ask them to change is the shower heads, there is plenty of hot water but those first generation water saver shower heads that shoot needles of water into your back should be up graded to the newer softer water...

This motel is absolutely a wonderful find. The owner, Terry and his family run this operation and have been doing so for a long time. Friendly and helpful with everything. We stayed three nights and was thrilled with our room. All rooms have two queen beds, by the way. I am a light sleeper, but rested well in their comfortable...
