Easy access to the west side of GNP, great beds, comfy cabins, store next door, helpful owner. I would recommend this area for the convenience, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful owner. He even let us know that it had snowed during the night at Logan's Pass.

Yes, you can hear trains during the night. They are not that close that it spoils your sleep - particularly if you have done some trekking uring the day. The road is relatively close so, yes, you do hear 18 wheelers/5 axels going by. Again, that did not spoil our night's sleep. Cabins are set back from the road. I believe there are three rooms in the main building. They probably get less noise but would not be as good as a cabin - in my opinion
