I'm def a city slicker! The majority of our vacations consist of cruise vacations with pre and post stays in places like NYC, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale; cities that are vibrant and alive the majority of the time...This trip was a lot different and I absolutely...More
This place was amazing. Stayed in the B&B. The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was different each morning, and you are given a lot of food. We will be returning.
Our B&B hosts were great! They provided information on things to do in the area, since Going to the Sun Road was closed due to the fires. The food provided was wonderful and they were very accommodating about sending a breakfast to go on our...More
The pine room was our choice for our first time at Smoky Bear. It's right off the kitchen in the main ranch house. Not very big, but has all basic amenities. Very clean. Friendly hosts. Able to accommodate our breakfast needs. Would probably choose a...More

My husband and I stayed at Smoky Bear Ranch last September, and it was fabulous, however, I seem to remember something about restrictions on children in the main lodge - but don't remember the specifics. I checked and can't find it on the website, but it used to be there someplace... maybe it has changed. There is a cabin option, but that doesn't include breakfast, which was WONDERFUL. I don't remember what time, but I'm thinking it was 8 AM. The route you mentioned for getting to West Glacier from there was a good one, and Nancy and Scott were really helpful with directions and suggestions, they know the area REALLY well! I hope this helps you... to contact them directly to find out about their policy on kids, the phone number is: 1-800-555-3806.
