Our experience at the Blue Damsel Lodge was wonderful. The lodge and its location on Rock Creek is absolutely stunning. You can walk outside the lodge, and be fishing in 5 minutes on Rock Creek. The staff at the lodge are first class and totally there to make your stay an adventure of a lifetime. The dinners made by Josh... More

Reading other reviews I decided to take my novice fly fisherman and good friend Kerry to the Blue Damsel Lodge for three days of fishing. When we landed in Missoula, Sam, our shuttle driver was there to meet us. A forty minute drive brought us to the lodge which is in a canyon and overlooks Rock Creek. A beautiful three... More

I would like to thank all of the previous Trip Advisor reviewers who recommended this lodge. They were so right! Blue Damsel's location near Missoula, MT makes it the ideal place to learn to fly fish. The lodge is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The owner, Keith, is the real deal--gracious, helpful, and eager to ensure that everything is... More

We had a great stay at Blue Damsel and highly recommend Keith, the crew, and this great spot on Rock Creek. KEITH was the perfect host and the crew did all they could to make our stay perfect. I just want to talk about the rivers and fishing in my review, so let me start by saying that all the comments about the lodge, the accommodation, the food and the people in the other reviews are right on. First class. Nothing to add. Now to the important stuff :) Before you come to Blue Damsel Keith will ask... More

i have stayed at the Blue Damsel twice in two years. It was like I had never left, I wasn't treated like a guest but like a long lost family member. My room was as nice as any 5 star hotel. Josh, the chef, prepared every meal with the freshest ingredients and with the skill of a michelin star fine... More

If you're looking for quality fishing, exquisite food, warm and friendly service in a beautiful setting, book here! Even with the high water conditions we were able to hook a couple dozen 18"+ trout drifting the Bitterroot and Missouri rivers. We returned each evening to a full bar, great appetizers and meals that included fresh veggies from the garden, and... More

The owner, Keith, takes a personal interest in the guests. It was our first time fly fishing, and he took time to show us the basics. The food was amazing, like I was eating at a 5-star restaurant. Amazing location, right on Rock Creek. Highly recommended for a Montana fly-fishing getaway.
