4-2017. After calling here it is in a nutshell, The inability to not continue answering questions over the phone without getting frustrated when asked "is this a place for children and how do you handle people's likes and dislikes for meals?" Apparently my child is the only kid in the world who is picky about their food and is allergic...

Not as advertised. Poor food. Paltry activities. The younger generation of the family does not have the time or interest in producing a dude ranch experience. No campfires. No s'mores. No fireside singing.

I visited Sweet Grass with 2 friends and have left with many many more. A very special atmosphere is created at this wonderful place bringing people together with a mutual love of riding and the environment. Contrary to some negative review below, the food was outstanding every single day with great variety and continual offers of more from the kitchens!...

I travelled with a friend who had a 'working, not fancy' ranch on her bucket list. Well, not only was our every need and want acknowledged by three generations of family members, but the staff was kind, communicative and quite a bit of fun. We understand why over our 10 days here, there were families that keep coming back to...

Time stands still at this family owned and operated ranch nestled in a lush green valley surrounded by mountains. The scenery is truly spectacular--from the translucent streams and mountain waterfalls to the jagged peaks of the Crazy Mountains to the emerald green forests packed with pine trees, the UX ranch is nonpareil. The lodge and cabins are tastefully decorated and...

Beautiful ranch, the owners and family very accomodating to all guests needs. Great to have so many choices as to how long and where to ride. Excellent horse chosen for me. My only issue was one of the female wranglers continually criticized my riding-not something to do to a guest. I hold her personally responsible for the loose cinch resulting...

My week at Sweet Grass was therapy for the soul and I couldn't have asked for a better holiday. My horse was chosen with careful consideration and I had the opportunity to change if needed. I travelled solo and wished to see as much as possible and this was very much catered for. The wranglers really took the time to...

We were lucky enough to spend the morning at this amazing ranch. Although were weren't staying as guests at the ranch, Laura and Tony accommodated our desire to see their country with them on their horses! We started the day with breakfast in the main cabin, and then headed out with our wrangler, Clay for a private ride of this...

Sweet Grass is heaven in the countryside of the crazy mountains. Great food, family atmosphere and well loved horses, it's impossible to leave not feeling like you've slowed down to a more reasonable pace of life. Great for family or those horse mad folks that love nature.

This place is very special and the moment you arrive you feel welcome and looked after! I returned for a second time this year. Last year on my first visit I met 3 solo girls from uk there and we kept in touch and actually all returned together this year! This place steals a piece of your heart with its...
