We stayed two nights at the Many Glacier. I knew what to expect and I was pleased with the stay. Things you should know: no air conditioning, claw foot tub with shower accessory, old building, parking in walking distance, amazing view! The room had a fan - excellent to cool off that room before the evening cool sets in, a...

The views from the hotel are simply gorgeous, and make the stay there worth the price of admission. We had a room with a shared balcony, overlooking the lake and the mountains. The room itself was adequate, nothing more -- clean but a but shabby. And note that you can hear conversations through the walls; one night we could hear...

We spent 3 nights at the Many Glacier Hotel and, during the time we were there, spent quite a bit of time gazing at the beautiful lake and mountains. The rooms, even though they are refurbished, are still pretty basic but comfortable. It was still quite cool when we were there in the middle of June so the lack of...

The hotel is the best and only in the area so I felt lucky to have a comfortable room with all the necessities and an amazing view. This hotel was part of the amazing Backroads Bike Trip to Glacier National Park.

The location is idyllic, which just barely overrides the antiquated rooms & bathrooms, including a shower that requires written instructions to operate. The lobby and architecture are wonderful; be sure to take the hotel tour if interested in its history. Despite the recent renovation, the rooms which are considered refurbished are not very comfortable. It gets quite warm in the...

Stayed for 3 nights in a lakeside room at the Many Glacier Hotel. Loved the old room in the main part of the lodge with footed bath tub. Room was clean and comfy, but remember that the draw is the view of the mountains and the lodge is rustic. The wind was gusting to 70 mph and needed ear plugs...

We booked our reservation almost a year in advance and was well worth it to get a lake side balcony room. Loved sitting out on the hotel deck in the Adirondack chairs to just absorb the area. Could see beavers off to the left. The lobby was fantastic with the fire. Wifi is slow but you're not here to be...

My husband and I visited GNP first week of June 2012. We stayed one night at Lake McDonald Lodge, and the rest of the week at Many Glacier Hotel. I booked the more expensive lake-view room and was rewarded with a beautiful lake-and mouintain-filled view with a balcony to photograph the sunsets. Wow, what a view!! Unforgetable and priceless! The...

Banff, Death Valley, and Yosemite have good hotels with great views; Many Glacier has the hotel with the best view. The photo of the hotel on Trip Advisor does not do the hotel justice. The hotel is very nice, but the view from the hotel is fantastic. The hotel was an excellent value and the best value of our 10-day...

The views in this hotel are breathtaking. We stayed in a lake/mountain view with balcony room for about $205 a night. It would be hard being here and not having the lake view. We were able to see bears, from a distance, and spent the morning sipping coffee on our balcony and watching a large moose swim across the lake....
