My husband and I always book the Walnut Street Inn whenever we visit Springfield. We have stayed in at least 3 different rooms and all of our experiences have been wonderful. The rooms are clean with modern amenities, the staff friendly and accommodating. The gourmet breakfast offered daily is excellent. If you enjoy the feel of a cozy Inn rather...

We stay here whenever there is a concert at JQH. They have an early checkin, which is fantastic. The fridge is stocked with soda and water. Everything you need to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast is included...brought to your room, or you may dine in the dining room of the main house.

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights at the Walnut Street Inn for her 17th birthday. It was our first time at a Bed and Breakfast and the experience was wonderful. The house was beautiful and the O'Neill room was extremely nice and relaxing. Breakfast both mornings was absolutely delicious. The staff, especially Lisa, were welcoming and friendly. The very...

Well managed Bed and Breakfast. Stayed 7 nights in the Finley Suite on the second floor of The Cottage Inn in The Walnut Inn Complex. The suite had nice views from the second floor windows. We were comfortable and enjoyed the floor plan of the suite in that there was a corner bedroom with gas fireplace and tv over the...

This was our 6th stay at the Inn. We love the ambiance, the service, the charm...we just love everything about Walnut Street Inn. It is also only a short walk from downtown Springfield and wonderful restaurants, shops, music, and bars. We have stayed in the Jewel and Jordan rooms and loved both. My sincere thanks to the owners, the chef...

Spent New Year's Eve here and walked to the Giloiz Theater and Civic Kitchen. Cardinals ballpark is close, too. Inn is big, but rooms are quiet and well appointed, giving a homey feel. As a non coffee drinker, I could have used the glass of water I requested, or a refill of juice, but otherwise, it was a perfect stay.

My wife and I have stayed here many times, starting when our daughter was in college at Missouri State University. We come back here every year or so for a quick getaway from the KC area. Many rooms to choose from; some with Jacuzzi tubs, some in the main house and some in the carriage house. Breakfast is always good....

Imagine a bed and breakfast located in three buildings over a hundred years old in the heart of one the friendliest towns in the midwest. To complete your mental picture, add gracious and personable hosts and a first-class breakfast. These folks do everything well. They have twelve different rooms and we have visited five of them. Each room has its...

We were here for one night (happened to be on a Sunday night when you get a 25% room discount). This lovely home is located right on the Walnut Street section covered by the historic walking tour. It's just a short drive from downtown restaurants, shopping, etc.(you can walk it in 10-15 minutes) and it's only a block from the...

Just a short stay in Springfield for a concert and chose Walnut Street Inn based on previous reviews and price point. This is a great B&B that maintains its Victorian charm, but not too foo-foo. The room wasn't huge, but it was cozy and comfortable. Added touches in the room included a small fridge stocked with cold drinks, coffeemaker with...
