This was our second night on the Katy Trail. The hosts were gracious enough to pick us up and drop off from the Trail Head. I know many people do bike to the B&B, but we were tired and the town was busy enough. (We got better as we went along the trail!) You are a bit far from town,... More

We don't normally choose B&Bs, but were pleasantly surprised with this one. Friendly owners, clean comfortable rooms and tons of amenities. Game room with pool table, darts, chess, dominoes, and lots of quiet reading books made our time enjoyable. The pool looked lovely too. Breakfast was wonderful and the grounds were quiet and scenic. The drive to downtown and the... More

Thanks to Owners Joe and Tammy Kimbrough, our second night of a 7 day ride on the Katy trail was very restful after riding 37 miles most of us were ready to settle in.. This B&B was very clean and the rooms varied in size and in price. All the rooms had TV local channels and the gathering room had... More

The hospitality and accommodations were excellent at Georgetown Country View Estate. Breakfast was very good. The building was very unusual for a B&B. We prefer to stay in an historic building. The original building at Georgetown is historic, but the guest rooms were added on in a previous era when it was an Assisted Living home for the elderly. The... More

Loved every minute of staying at this beautiful estate while attending the 33rd annual Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival in Sedalia, June 5-8, 2013! Five minutes from all activities downtown...but a world away from the bustle. Felt like staying at one of my friends' luxury estates in any one of several European countires! Great homey feel, super owners....awesome little pool and... More

We stayed here as our first stop on our bike trip from Clinton to Machens on the Katy Trail. The host (Tami and Joe) were absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay when biking the Katy Trail (and any other time as well!). It is a little ways off the trail... More

I bicycled the KATY trail Clinton-Machens-Clinton. I booked this B&B online for my first night after riding from Clinton. It is a few miles out of town in a beautiful country setting, up on top of a hill (cyclist will need to use their granny gear!). The facilities are first rate: swimming pool, hot tub, en suite bathroom, and the... More

I needed a room near Sedalia, and all hotels were booked for the State Fair. My employer reserved a room at Georgetown Country View Estate. It was a little hard to find (arrived after dark), but the accommodations were great. I would stay here again.

TAmmy and Joe were the perfect host and hostess during our stay at the BMW motorcycle Rally in Sedalia. The extreme daytime temperatures, often over 105 degrees, took the energy out of everyone and their luxurious home and easy hospitality made a huge difference for all of us. I highly reccommend their B & B to anyone visiting the area.... More
