We had our daughter's wedding here in early October and can't say enough good things about the place and the owners. Mark and Dixie helped us with the wedding planning, making suggestions when it was helpful and otherwise being supportive when we asked for suggestions or "how-to's". This wasn't their first rodeo, and it made all the difference. With over... More

A wonderfully place to stay. It is peaceful, well decorated and the staff are fantastic. When any issues came up, like hairdressers and priest canceling the owners had well qualified individuals able to be called to step in. Home made breakfasts were wonderful and creative. Mark and Dixie are easy to talk to and know how to provide a fantastic,... More

This is by far the best place we have ever stayed on a vacation. So relaxing, above and beyond our expectations. Mark & Dixie are wonderful hosts and the breakfasts were delicious. We came in as strangers and left as friends! Highly recommend staying here. We didn't want to leave. You will not be disappointed!

It was nice to get away from all the business of city life and enjoy the quiet. We had a very relaxing, restful time and appreciated all that was done to make our stay memorable. Breakfast in the morning was awesome and had a great variety of good items on and by our plates. We didn't leave hungry! It kept... More

I was traveling on my way from Nebraska to Alabama. The food was delicious! I really enjoyed meeting Mark and Dixie and I also met a... More

We just returned home to Wisconsin from what was too short a time at Blackberry Creek but one of the nicest short vacations we've ever had. We had an amazing time with Mark and Dixie and the place and the spirit that surrounds it. It was serendipitous chance that brought us to Blackberry Creek and such a pleasure to arrive... More

I just came home from a 4 day 3 night stay at Blackberry. Words cannot describe what a fantastic time our Quilt Group had. The rooms were impeccibly clean, cozy and quiet. Everything about Blackberry Creek Retreat is top-notch. Mark and Dixie are not just hosts, but they treat you like friends. The accomodations are lovely--the atmosphere is homey with an interesting ecclectic decor of antiques. The food is wonderful--beautifully presented, abundant, and delicious. This was our second visit, and we hope to return!
