From the first phone call to the going away breakfast, the accommodations, service, and hospitality were phenomenal. Mark met us at the door and treated us as cherished friends. The breakfasts were exceptional. The rooms were fantastic. We were on bucket list trip to visit the home of Laura Ingalls Wilder, which is only a short distance away. Mark made...

I attended a quilt retreat here and was totally amazed at the space, the sleeping rooms and the food. Mark, the owner wears many hats as he cooks, makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The appearance of the plated meals is beautiful. You can tell Mark is passionate about cooking as the food is delicious. I'm excited knowing we will...

The accommodations are comfortable, spacious and homey. The space for socializing both upstairs and down is wonderful. Sitting together at the large table in one group for dining made for visiting with everyone an easy task. We all had plenty of space for all of our quliting supplies and machines. The Best was all the food Mark prepared for our...

The room was spacious and amenities first class. Nestled away into one of the most scenic areas of the Ozarks without being too far from civilization. So, when you step out onto the patio and hear absolutely nothing but the rustling of leaves and wind blow it's a easy to appreciate the peacefulness of the place. The hospitality of the...

This is a awesome place to stay and the hosts could not be any better to their guests! They spoil their guests! The breakfast is out of this world and not any typical breakfast like served at hotels for a continental breakfast. I wish I had taken a picture. Luxury robes in each room to wear either in the morning...

After recently selling our motorhome, we decided to try a B&B for the first time ever. We could only manage to get away from home for a couple of days, so we did a search of B&B's in the Springfield, MO area. After researching several B&B's in the area we choose Blackberry Creek Retreat. We made our reservation online and...

Had a great time with fellow scrapbookers and quilters while being treated like a queen. The food was awesome and the rooms felt like home. A great place for families or friends to stay and a great host as well. Will definitely be staying again.

Wonderful location and facilities. Mark goes out of his way to make things as stress free as possible. Great rooms and a really great breakfast each morning. Could not have asked for anything more. If you want a great place to stay away from all the hustle and bustle of life, then this is the place to come.

This is an amazing place to stay if you are in southwestern Missouri. We received a gift from our children for our 40th anniversary and they couldn't have chosen a more perfect place for us to stay. It's off the beaten path, secluded and private and well worth the 20-30 min drive off Hwy 44. One of the first things...
