Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the nicest B&Bs I have ever visited. Really nice hosts. Incredibly clean and comfortable. A real home away from home. The rooms are each unique, and tastefully decorated. And then right on the Katy makes it more perfect.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed house. It was very attractive and extremely clean throughout. The kitchen was good-sized with a large counter for meals. It was well stocked for a continental breakfast and there were also supplies for making a hot breakfast. We stayed downstairs and used the downstairs bathroom which is quite spacious and houses modern laundry facilities. There are many thoughtful touches throughout the house and we had a most pleasant stay. Words can't adequately describe just how comfortable and delightful we found this bed and breakfast to be. A big thank you to our host who was extremely accommodating. We look forward to another visit.

Very cute house with 3 bedroom choices or the comfortable carriage house with 2 beds and 2 futons. Lots of good snacks and breakfasts options. Easily accessible and nice place to hang out, rest from a day after the trails or use as a hub for out n back rides.

This place is amazing. Located right along the Katy Trail so you can watch the bikers ride by or take a ride yourself. The Missouri River is close by and the small quaint town of Rocheport has some great restaurants. For a quiet few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city, visit Katy Trail Bed and Bikefest.

We stayed here 1 night while biking the Katy Trail but would have liked to have stayed longer - it was such a cozy, comfortable space. My husband and I had 1 of the 2 downstairs bedrooms reserved. This and the other first floor bedroom share a very nice bathroom (which also houses the laundry facilities). The living areas (kitchen and living room) were nicely decorated with several Missouri and Katy Trail guidebooks on the book shelves. The kitchen is well stocked for a do-it-yourself hot breakfast: eggs, pancake batter mix, juices, coffee, milk, cereal, and bagels. An added bonus: some nice post ride snacks. A request to pay 50 cents for cold sodas and $5 for frozen pizzas is cleared posted. All else is included in the night's stay. There a couple of dining options in town but

We were very fortunate to have the entire house to ourselves (that alone earned an extra star!) The house is very well put together, and the bed was comfortable enough. I didn't love the self-serve aspect as we didn't find adequate supplies to cook a hot breakfast, but the kitchen is well stocked with the basic continental breakfast. All that said, the location is perfect on the trail, easy access, and the door keypads work great. Also, I support this little B&B because its owner Brett literally wrote the book on the Katy Trail.

We stayed at the cottage house for the Saturday of this year's Pedaler's Jamboree (May 23, 2015), and I'm happy to report that not only is it fully restored after the water damage in the winter, but it was a fantastic place to stay. It was both charming and cozy, but still spacious enough to accommodate many people doing several different things. The combination of the various outdoor spaces (patios, deck, fire circle) and the open-floor plan main floor made it easy to accommodate everyone. This was our first visit, although it certainly won't be the last, and we were continually pleasantly surprised. We (myself, my husband, and our 18 month old daughter) did the Columbia - Rocheport leg of Pedaler's along with two of our cousins and their 18 month old. We had reservations at

While biking Katy Trail with our son and daughter-in-law, we stopped for the first night at this B&B. Very cozy - we especially liked the fact that we could be up and going in the AM without having to wait until breakfast was served. The one question we had was quickly answered with a call to the owners and the notes they left at the B&B were very helpful. The four of us agreed it was a great place to stay and is certainly easy to find with the trail going right by our bedroom window.

I decided I would bicycle the entire Katy Trail in 3 days. I used a book entitled The Complete Katy Trail Guidebook. The first day was Clinton to Rocheport 85 miles. I got to the place in the dark on a recumbent trike. The Katy Trail B&B is a do it yourself B&B which turned out to be awesome. The owner Brett has thought of everything in fact he had frozen pizza for those of us that did not think ahead about dinner when we set out to conquer the Katy! I would not change a thing about this B&B it is an excellent value and is immaculate! We love the Bistro at Les Bourgeois and will be coming back without my trike, keep up the good work!
