Detailed Reviews
Due to its good reviews, we chose to stay at Omah Pakem during our visit to Yogy for bike event last week.
During our stay, we start to understand why guests gave the good reviews and we fully agree with them.
Such a perfect place to escape from city hustle and bustle.
It recites outskirt at Mount Merapi area (not too close though but you can see the mountain clear enough)
Has quite big area, it even has own paddy field, however only few rooms open for public. It is to prevent from too crowd also to keep the privacy and serenity.
Clean room (this is important!) and not forgetting to mention Great Staffs who are informative, friendly and good cook too.
If you are planning to hold outdoor and private event such as gathering, reunion or even wedding I humbly recommend you to Omah Pakem but make sure you contact them far in advance so they can manage the reservation.

+1
The resort has four rooms only.
They do have the facility for small party, ie. wedding party.
Each room has reasonable toiletries. Soap, shampoo, tooth brush & tooth paste. The linen is white and clean. As well as their towels.
The air-con worked well.
We did rent the whole complex without actually knowing it. The whole four rooms. Thus, we did not share the property with others. Very private. We played on their big garden for ourselves. They have small swimming pool too. They set up the breakfast just for us in their little cave on the first morning and in their garden by the kitchen on the next one.
We did not know that they do not serve any lunch or dinner. If they tell us when we booked, it would be very helpful. However, we could manage it by using Go-Food (food delivery service by Go-Jek). They have lovely garden, but it also comes with its friends, insects. They do provide an anti-insect lotion in the room. It helps.
When it rains, it would be difficult to travel from one villa to others.
There is no indoor common place for us to gather when it rains. To gather in one of the bed room for 10 adults is too crowded.

Omah Pakem was a beautiful haven that offered me the serenity and rest I needed away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Place was nestled amongst nature- Padi fields, beautiful javanese architecture and a beautiful pool! Staff was beyond amazing.

The overall accommodation was amazing. The staff was truly knowledgeable about everything and setting up the breakfast for us with our little Ines was well done. Couldn't ask for more and overall experience was amazing

Amazing site away from city noise. Great for nature lovers. Beautiful, surroundings with lush tropical garden, comfortable, clean rooms and beds. Enjoy the beautiful view from your room with the huge window/glass door over looking the gorgeous site!
But above all, the staff will attend to your every needs! Chandra can find a driver for you and also be your guide on outings. He will book everything for you, make things easy and give you a ton of information on the javanese culture! Rama will win your heart with his cooking and his sense of humour. And dare to try the indonesian breakfast, it is wonderful! Hana will oversee everything and make sure to make you feel welcome! We even got two nicely wrapped little gifts on departure. Lovely attention!
We were two couples travelling together and the four of us would highly recommend it, anytime! Omah Pakem means "Home in Pakem". It truly deserves it's name! ♡♡♡

We stayed in Omah Pakem spontaneously during our trip to Central Java. As we were looking for a accommodation, which accepted dogs, we found Omah Pakem...already the first contact was very friendly and helpful that even not yet there, we right away felt that Omah Pakem was a good choice.
When we reached the place, we were welcomed by friendly staff and Doner the Resort Dog. We were also right away impressed by the design and management of the garden (if you can call it a garden, as for us it was more a park), with lots of trees, orchids, rice fields nicely arranged. Our accomodation was right at the small river in between the trees. The rooms are very big and clean...nothing for TV junkies though as there is no TV. This resort is really a place for people to relax, with a very nice pool (with small waterfall) and great Indonesian breakfast...
With all the plants, the birds singing, the squirrels hopping in between the trees and the butterflies in the morning sun, and its great arrangement for dogs (even our 2 big dogs were allowed to come and play in the garden and were handled very kind). We can only congratulate the owner for this resort, which really meets the taste of nature lovers and the selection of a staff that identifies with that resort and takes care in such a great manner for the cleaniness of the facilites and the guests...always available for the guests with good tips and recommendations for the region.
Thank you a lot that we were able to stay in your resort!.

We Just arived this evening and we are shocked with its beauty design and lanscape. Our first impression was WAAAWWW!!! Hahaha. The room has an unique-traditional design with stars standard amenities and services. Yoh will find a huge area when u entered the parking area if u r seeking place for gathering or if u r plan to have a garden party wedding ceremonial.
Well, at last, Lucky us for having this guestroom privately since we are the only visitor today *^^*.
For u guys that looking for a nice quiet luxury and homy place this is it.
Price? Its very afordable!!. Total score is 100!!

We stayed at Omah Pakem during our trip to Jogjakarta and were in awe upon arrival: the resort is huge, beautifully landscaped, and has its own paddy field and herbs garden. Best of all, as there are limited rooms, we felt a sense of calmness and serenity throughout our stay.
Our room is clean and stocked with standard amenities. WIFI can be weak in the room, but this negligible as we spent most of our time exploring the resort and area. The hotel staffs are fun, helpful and sincere in ensuring our stay is enjoyable.
I'd recommend Omah Pakem to stay in if you wish to have a quiet, relaxing place to unwind.

Omah Pakem was the first place to stay during our Indonesia trip. And we could not have had a more pleasant and welcoming start. Actually, Omah Pakem ended up being the by far best value-for-money-relation on our whole trip on Java, Bali and Lombok!
The four very clean rooms are situated in a very beautiful and quiet jungle area between a small river and the owners large property with a private rice field and a nice garden/park area. The facilities are very clean and the swimming pool is in a beautiful setting under rainforest trees. But the best about this place is its staff. The guys running this place are not only very open, welcoming and with a lot of humor. They helped us out with very valuable tipps on our Indonesia journey, and wherever they saw something that would make our lifes easier, it was offered. Also the tour they organized was very professional and good value for the price. One thing that you might want to bring are earplugs because of the mosque nearby - we came in the week of Idul fidri. But this is a general issue on Java and with the plugs we slept very well. We already recommended this place to friends going to Indonesia with little kids next year.
