The owners and workers were very friendly. The campsite is well kept. The other campers were freindly. There were a few campers a bit drunk and rowdy in the evening, but nothing I didnt expect. The canoe trip was very well organized, you know when your leaving for the river and you know where to stop back at the campsite....

We just returned from our 3rd trip this summer at Eagles Nest. What an awesome place it is. They really do have the best family campground on the Elk River. We floated on Friday and Sunday and both floats were great. Definately less crowded and less rowdy people than on Saturdays. The owners seem like they work very hard to...

Made my reservations befor I read the reviews, so it's my falt. Every thing you will read about this campground, and the area of river around it is true, or worse than stated. Quiet time is 1:30 am if then, till the hungovers drag themselves out of tents etc around 10am. We went for a Friday 8am float July 5th,...

The best campground on the river! Great for families and the owners are always friendly and helpful. We come every year for the floating and the fantastic experiences. We will definitely be back for years to come!!!

Beautiful area and river canoeing was great. But the train running through every two hrs.ALL night was not good. Then you have the semi trucks on the opposite sde of train of campground that hit their air brakes ALL night,keeps you awake alot too.Campgrounds were spacious and plenty of room for our pop-up and three tents.Had the grounds keeper just...

We went on our annual camping and canoe trip this past weekend. Although normally we stay at a different campground, some of the others in our party wanted to go to Eagles Nest Campground.
