Detailed Reviews
We have just returned home after our 3rd
visit to Islander Lodge. This time we spent 2 weeks on your beautiful island.
The units are spotless and the friendly easy going staff are onto things immediately should the need arise. My husband had a good chat to Borrie as he dropped off a full bunch of bananas for us all to share.
We will be back and are tempted to try Endeavour for a change, but feel nothing could match The Islander.

A group of 10 of us booked through Norfolk Island Travel for our first trip to Norfolk Island.
Our package included flights, car hire, accommodation and 10 tours.
Everything was perfectly organised and we enjoyed all of the tours and learning the history of the island.
The absolute hilight was our accommodation at Islander Lodge which overlooks historic Kingston and us under 10 mins drive to the centre of town.
Whilst not ultra modern, it was very comfortable and everything thing imaginable was included, even a picnic basket! But the best thing was it is a group of 5 apartments (just right for our group) with the most magnificent views.
This trip exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we stepped foot at Islander Lodge we knew we found the perfect location! Sweeping water views across to Nepean and Phillip Islands, with norfolk pines was just breath taking. Waking up to this view was just magical! So peaceful, with cows coming up to greet us by the side of the fence. Spotless accom with everything you need should you stay in and do a bit of cooking. Very self contained with washing machine and dryer. We had a rental car which was about a 5 min drive to the main street of Norfolk Island. Would thoroughly recommend Islander Lodge.

Excellent location. We stayed in Unit 2 of 5 units & was very clean, roomy with everything needed for a self catering holiday. A rental car is a necessity & was arranged & was waiting when we arrived at the unit. Would possibly be the best location for accommodation as it looks out to Phillip Island & down to Quality Row. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Stayed here as was part of NSW and accessible to us during Covid lockdown. Fantastic location with magnificent views over Kingston. A little out of town, but not an issue as you need a car to get around the island and nearly all accommodation comes with car hire option or included and very reasonable price.
Owner of units Duncan, was great and very informative.

The view was amazing with nothing to interfere with a 360' panorama. Accommodation was great with self contained unit and everything we needed as well as free wi-fi and some free phone. Clean and well maintained.

Sensational view , very clean apartment with everything you could need right down to the picnic basket. Has a washing machine as well as a Weber BBQ so you can enjoy the fresh Island beef or fish. 5 min to town and 1 min to the historic Kingston district. A wonderful place to stay, All round great location with very helpful hosts when needed. Photos do not do the view justice.

+1
If you're wondering why all the travellers rave about the view, it's because it IS the best! Very relaxing to sit out on the veranda and soak up the twin beauties of water and historic dwellings. The unit is cosy with everything you could need to feel at home. Lovely big bathroom, comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen.
Our hire car was waiting for us at the unit, after our free transfer from the airport, which made it very easy for us!
We were super sad to leave and will defs book this again when we return.

I found Islander Lodge through Norfolk Select Travel. The view from the front patio is spectacular. The unit is roomy, welcoming, clean and had everything you would need for a weeks stay.
Huge bathroom, washing machine, BBQ, full gas stove back deck with clothes line, pegs as well as small table and chairs.
Linen is provided.
Just a lovely place to stay - out of the way.

This is an excellent place to stay. Close enough to the town but far enough away.
Its clean, well furnished and the view whilst sitting outside have a glass of red worth the entire trip.
You must have a car and plan on cooking some meals yourself. Bring cheese, breakfast, UHT milk and biscuits.
Have a picnic at a park by taking the kit with you. We did.

Foodland Supermarket usually has fresh milk. But it is expensive as it is flown in from Australia.
We do have good wifi inside all the apartments that comes from the NBN Skymuster satellite. Guests are provided with 2GB of data on check-in. Additional 1GB data blocks can be purchased for $10.00
All the Islander Lodge apartments have TV & DVD players. There are 18 free-to-air channels from Australia, a local Norfolk channel. There is a selection of DVD's at the Guest Lounge at our Ocean Breeze property that you can borrow.
We have just taken management of Islander Lodge. All apartments will have a coffee plunger very shortly.
