Nothing to disappoint at Endeavour Lodge, We spent most of our at home time on the balcony. What a fabulous view over to Nepean and Phillip Islands. We were joined to one other unit but had no noise what so ever, Exceptionally quite location, all you hear are the surf from Cemetry Bay and the call of the many birds flying past the balcony. Comfortable bed with lovely linen. Our own washing machine,washing detergent, clothes airer, and small outside line attached to unit. My husband and I stayed two weeks at Endeavour Lodge, and it was a pleasant surprise to find our accommodation just like its website pictures it displays. After driving around the Island and checking out some of the other accommodations, some were not so accurate. The unit was very clean and well equipped, and the verandah has the best sunsets on Norfolk Island. There is building that has a library and DVD collection you can borrow for those lazy or wet days. Very quiet area and only a short drive into the town center.

Greeted warmly by our host Gaewyn at the airport and given tips on places of interest on the short drive to the lodge. Our hire car was waiting outside our room for us. The units are very clean, well equipped and beds comfortable. The views are unbelievable. Extra touches like binoculars and picnic blankets, help yourself to their home grown bananas. Wifi not great but there are plenty of places in town where you can access free wifi. Gaewyn and Duncsn are really lovely hosts.

We traveled to Norfolk Island with another couple and chose Endeavour Lodge due to it’s great ocean views. We had 2 one bedroom self contained units that were able to be connected at the back via a door on a balcony. (Units 1&2) They arranged pickup from the airport and a hire car (a little Jimmy which which had a bit more space for 4 people) The unit was clean, comfortable and everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, towels were soft and fluffy and the water pressure in the shower was great. We only used the kitchen for cooking breakfast - we ate out for lunch and dinner every day. The accommodation is right at the end of Collins Head Road on top of a cliff. A car is definitely required to get anywhere. As mentioned the views were good out to sea and to Philip Island and we had glimpses of Cemetery Bay through the trees. Lots of visiting birdlife including a rooster who we nicknamed Joe (cocker doodle do) there also cows and ducks on the property. We made friends with and visited the ladies staying in Rainbows End - the 3 bedroom house on the property - it had the best views on the Island Im sure! Free access to Bananas was a plus - as well as the guest lounge with reading material, books, puzzles and games available. We had a lovely week on the island - hopefully we will be back someday. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone coming to stay on Norfolk Island. …

Stunning place. Ocean views to die for. Our 2 bedroom lodge was amazing. Huge lounge and kitchen area with every thing you could ever need. Our own indoor laundry and even washing powder supplied. A dryer, or outside clothesline also. Huge deck with bar b q and views over the ocean . Sit out of an evening with drinks and nibbles and see the sunset and the ocean change colour. Both bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Which were big and great exhaust fan and window. Good shower. Lovely comfortable beds and pillows. Spotlessly clean. If you want to be right out of town and away from everything, with the sound of the ocean crashing in , and leave the doors open and enjoy, this is the place for you. Just cant speak highly enough of this place and we will be staying there again . …

ENDEAVOUR LODGE,NORFOLK ISLAND IS WITHOUT QUESTION THE ONLY PLACE TO STAY ON NORFOLK ISLAND.IT HAS SELF CATERING 1 & 2 BEDROOM VILLAS OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN AND A BEAUTIFUL LUSH VALLEY FILLED WITH LITTLE WHITE FAIRY TERNS.. FOR A FAMILY GATHERING THERE IS RAINBOWS END HOUSE ALSO ON SITE. THE OWNERS GAEWENN AND DUNCAN HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN ANYTHING IN SETTING UP THE LODGE.QUALITY FITTINGS,EXCELLENT BED AND PILLOWS,SPACIOUS KITCHEN WITH FULL SIZE FRIDGE,EVEN BINOCULARS AND A FULLY EQUIPPED PICNIC SET.WEBER B-B-Q ON THE VERANDAH.THEY EVEN INCLUDED A SPECIAL MAKE-UP REMOVER TOWEL!! We loved our week staying in the two bedroom cottage with our friends. Cottage is spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more. Appreciatef the use of picnic basket and thermos and made good use of mask and goggles that were available for our use. Staff and owners very friendly. Loved having BBQ available to enjoy dinner out on the deck and take in the stunning views. We would recommend this accomodation to anyone.

Stunning views and the apartment is very clean and well equipped. I can highly recommend Endeavour Lodge for anyone looking for somewhere to stay and the hosts meet you at the Airport and take you to the Lodge and they also organised a hire car which was at the Lodge when we arrived. One of the best holidays we have had.

Indulge in what must be one of the world’s few remaining unspoiled ocean-meets-cliffs landscapes from your very own well appointed self-contained unit. Endeavour Lodge is a credit to all those involved in keeping the standard very high. Duncan and Gaewyn have thought of everything. We were even given grapefruit and pawpaws from their own orchard and hands of bananas (when available) hang in the fruit coop for guests to help themselves. It is indeed a lovely touch of kindness. Bird life is abundant in the close lush valley views across to Emily Bay and beyond, we enjoyed from our unit. All in all well deserving of its four Star Rating……we would like to give it a five.

The view!!! Just can’t go past it. The cows and noddies add to it. Very well appointed with lovely seating arrangements inside and both decks. Fabulous touches such as the dinner set, dishwasher, washing machine and some lovely extras in the bathroom plus spare towels and beach towels as well as numerous other items like blinds and screens all add up to a very comfortable home while on holiday.
